Welcome to La Chaumière, a charming cottage nestled in the heart of the Domaine de la Ferme de Fourges, in Flancourt-Crescy-en-Roumois. 🌿
Perfect for a stay for 2 or 3 people, this warm cocoon combines authenticity and modern comfort. You will be seduced by its bucolic setting in the middle of 20 hectares of greenery, surrounded by forests and unspoiled nature.
Ideal for a relaxing or romantic getaway, La Chaumière offers a unique experience where calm and serenity are at the rendezvous. ✨
La Chaumière is a cottage of character with:
🛌 A comfortable bedroom with a double bed for sweet and restful nights.
👧🏼 A cozy space with a single bed that can accommodate an additional person.
🛋️ Living room equipped with a television and a DVD player.
👩🏼🍳 A fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing your meals independently.
🚿 A modern bathroom with shower and washing machine.

This cottage has private access to an outdoor space, perfect for having a morning coffee or relaxing at the end of the day.
In the heart of the estate, La Chaumière offers total privacy thanks to a well-thought-out layout with a breathtaking view of the forest.

Travelers have access to the entire Chaumière as well as the 20-hectare estate.
You can explore the surrounding forests, walk in the meadows and observe wild animals such as hares, deer and squirrels. 🐿️
Rental bikes are available to discover the surroundings.
Located in Flancourt Crescy en Roumois, in Normandy in the Eure, in the heart of a pretty valley. The cottage is located in a 20-hectare property, 1 hour 30 minutes from Paris (A13), 30 minutes from Rouen, 45 minutes from Deauville and Honfleur and 20 minutes from the Bec Hellouin Abbey or that of Jumièges. 📍
We offer charming, completely independent seasonal rentals that welcome you all year round, for a weekend or more.
I am available to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Whether for local recommendations, organizing a massage session directly in the cottage or booking a creative leisure course, I am at your disposal. You can easily reach me by message or phone. 💬
Please note:
- During school holidays and long weekends, the rental is for a minimum of 3 nights (or a full week).
- Household linen provided: sheets, towels and tea towels.

The cottage was beautiful set in the lovely surrounding of Forges Farm. A quiet and relaxing setting with stunning peacocks on site together with alpacas, ducks, geese and chickens. We stayed with our dog who was very welcome and there were plenty of walking routes from the site into the local forest, as well as others that could be found locally. Sonia was an amazing host, was very welcoming on our arrival and went above and beyond in helping us when are car broke down and had to be recovered to a garage and back to the uk.

This is our first time holidaying in Normandy and it certainly won't be our last. The thatched roof gite was quaint, it was well maintained and had home comforts of dishwasher and washing machine. The outside space was great especially the thatched terrace outside area with the garden furniture. This area was well utilised at every meal time and the added bonus of hot weather was taken advantage of.
Although other gites were nearby everyone had plenty of private space which was great advantage as we had 2 cocker spaniels with us and they wandered around without disturbing neighbours.
The expansive grounds were well maintained and there was an adjoining wood which was ideal for dog walking
The gite was well situated for day trips to Honfleur and Arromanche but too far for Mont St Michel.
I would certainly recommend this gite as it was everything you need to make a stay first rating.

Le gîte La chaumière est situé dans dans un très beau parc de 20 ha où la nature est au rendez-vous pour sa tranquillité malgré la proximité de plusieurs autres locations au sein de la propriété. La situation géographique est idéale pour découvrir la région Normande ( Audemer, Honfleur, Deauville, Trouville, Rouen). De nombreux sentiers pédestres au départ du gîte sont possibles, néanmoins pour cette catégorie de bien à louer, nous avons qq remarques concernant les équipements de la maison ( 2 sets de table uniquement pour 3 personnes, planche à découper, sous de plat et pinces pour barbecue absentes , cafetière-dinette trop petite). D'autre part, l'accueil nous à montré que le gîte n'avait pas été ouvert/aéré depuis 3 mois, ainsi le ménage laissait entrevoir plusieurs toiles d'araignée et le salon de jardin à nettoyer en arrivant ainsi qu'un manque de chauffage).
Le point négatif fut notre surprise le premier matin de n'avoir pas d'eau chaude pour prendre sa douche (faute d'avoir enclenché le fusible du cumulus de la part du propriétaire).
Enfin, un petit produit d'accueil aurait été à la hauteur du prix de la prestation comme il se fait.
