The capital is easily accessible by car, train and a bus service is also available; the train makes a stop at the station 'S. Pietro 'near the Basilica and Vatican Museums, between 50 minutes.
The surrounding area is rich in Etruscan and Roman archaeological remains and precious natural resources.
