CASALE MASSUCCI CORCHIANO (VT)
Casale Massucci is located in the heart of the ancient Etruscan territory and is 1500 meters from the village of Corchiano .. The construction of the farmhouse dates back to 1930 and the "conservative" restructuring has made the environment welcoming thanks to the spacious rooms with private bathroom and the 2 living rooms and 2 kitchens where it is possible to prepare and have meals. ..
The farmhouse is spread over 2 floors, and consists of 8 double rooms, 5 of which with private bathroom 2 with shared bathroom and 1 bathroom for the disabled.
A large room with a fireplace allows you to stay together and have your meals. Suitable for groups of 15/20 people.
In good weather it is possible to eat outside using the large barbeque made available to guests.
From May, the beautiful salt chlorination swimming pool will be open and available to guests and the location among the green of the olive trees will make the stay even more pleasant.
Near the farmhouse you can walk the ancient Via Amerina III century A. C and visit (with reservation) the Oasis of the WWF Pian Sant'Angelo '.
It is also possible to visit the ancient Etruscan Pontone del Ponte dam to then go up the gorge "natural monument" to admire the landscape and the Tomba del Capo with its inscriptions. Even today The Roman Archaeological Group (GAR) organizes groups to search for and bring to light Etruscan tombs ...(if interested in visiting the fort you can ask the owners)
In the summer you can eat meals under the olive trees or under the large porch or read a book next to the pool, among the chirps of the goldfinches and the strange verses of the upupe that nest on site; or go see the famous Etruscan cuttings and the 14th century churches of Corchiano ..
For horse riding enthusiasts 2 kilometers from the Casale, reachable on foot or by bike, it is possible to book riding lessons with membership.
The location of Corchiano (the ancient Etruscan town FESCENNIUM) allows you to visit many places nearby (Viterbo, Orte, Bomarzo, Faleri, CivitaCastellana, Gallese) to venture into the famous beechwood of Soriano nel Cimino, go to visit the exhibition in April of the Chinese peonies "to the village of Vitorchiano 20 km from the farmhouse, go to the lake of Vico or relax in the therapeutic hot waters of the baths of the Popes.
Near the farmhouse passes the "path of light" and a few kilometers the ancient Via Francigena.

Great house with a lot of rooms, beds and bathroom, large outdoor area, with little corners to sit and discover, wonderful pool with salted water. Very kind, sympathetic and helpful owners who live next door. Interesting not touristic area (archeological sites, walking spots, lakes…). We could have stayed longer and really recommend the house!

Un paradiso terrestre con proprietari adorabili !
Passegiate nei boschi, laghi vicini di Vico e Bracciano, incontri con la gente accogliente in paese…
Eleonora, Maurizio e Sovie sono calorosi, autentici e tranquilli.
A Casale Massucci, il tempo si è fermato e ci siamo allentati in questa grande casa tra ulivi, noccioli e vigna.

Il casale è una tipica struttura rustica di campagna con un viottolo sterrato per cui è assolutamente necessario avere un mezzo per potersi spostare.
Se cercate un luogo in cui staccare la spina e vivere in relax è il posto giusto, con una bella piscina.
I proprietari, che abitano nella casa a fianco, sono molto gentili e disponibili.
