Charming house in hamlet 18 th in the heart of the Luberon with swimming pool and air conditioning

Our stay in Gordes was without a doubt one of the best parts of our trip. Our airline rescheduled our flight last minute however the owner was extremely understanding and worked with us to make our check in and stay very special. Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by Jocelyne who answered all our questions and went over all the details including a large list of local restaurants that were amazing! The home is incredibly beautiful, well-appointed and extremely clean. The pool was a huge plus just outside our door in the beautiful Provencal, garden and we were thankful for the washer, dryer. The location could not be beat! Everything we wanted to explore in the region was 15 minutes to half-an-hour in any direction. This is a special property tucked into a small hamlet of 200 year old farmhouses and just 5 minutes from the heart of Gordes. I thoroughly recommend this property.

A beautiful, peaceful property in a gorgeous area, just outside of scenic Gordes. Benedicte was responsive throughout and made helpful recommendations while we were there. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful and decorated with great style. The soft sofa and large bathroom made us very comfortable. The small kitchen was more than enough for our summer suppers.The air conditioning in the upstairs bedroom and dining room was much appreciated, as was the lovely pool. The hamlet is very quiet with nice neighbours and good parking.

Lovely house and décor, very clean, lovely pool and in a great location. There were pre-existing issues with the plumbing and sanitary ware which were resolved very quickly, but there still remains an issue with a very temperamental toilet flush that needs to be permanently addressed. Some other small niggles would be that the kitchen is very small but workable, but there is no oven as stated on the property details, only a combination microwave/oven. The gas hob has two burners which are only large enough for two small pans which is restrictive. More than one set of keys would be useful, to allow the external annexe guests to gain entry into the house. The annexe bedroom is charming but there is only a curtain separating it from the en-suite bathroom. A door would be better. A change of bed linen is provided which we changed midway through our stay. We washed towels as there were no spares. When we have been to other HomeAway properties a cleaner normally comes in after one week to clean and change linen and towels. We were surprised that this was not the case here. Some detailed instructions of kitchen equipment, the pool, air-con etc would be handy, plus good directions of how to locate the property.
