About this farm stay rental
Wonderful farmhouse recently renovated with more than 1 million square meters of park, woods and fields inhabited by local fauna and equipped with an orchard, a vineyard and a natural spring. Everything is immersed in the magnificent and hilly Tuscan panorama, all of this for an exclusive and private use of the hosts.
The Le Rote farmhouse conjugates the comfort of modernity with the appeal of tradition: the habitation of 250 m² is sided by an open sky swimming pool of 112 m² and it is provided with Wi-Fi connection, washing machine, dishwasher, 32" flat-screen TV with satellite connection and on demand cinema. On the other hand the park will dispense fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh eggs from our chickens and the firewood from our vast wood that can be used to enjoy the big stonework barbeque, the firewood oven or to warm you in front of the huge internal fireplace.
Your kids can have fun feeding our animals in the yard and they will have a small park with swings.
Situated at a few kilometers from seaside locations like Follonica, Cecina and Punta Ala it is at the same time near to the main cultural points of the region like Siena, Firenze, Pisa, San Giminiano and Volterra.
The habitation is equipped with 3 double rooms and a room with up to 4 single beds, everything customizable on request. A big hall decorated with chestnut tree beams and in view stone walls, a kitchen provided with every appliance and 2 bathrooms with shower and bath tub.
The park is filled with paths suitable for trekking and to mountain bike while the swimming pool, facing the valley, has a depth from 1 to 3 m.
It is advisable to rent a car for moving into the countryside and for reaching the farmhouse, but a transport service from the airport or the train station of Florence is still available.

We have a lovely time there. The house has plenty of space and was clean and well equipped. The garden was beautiful with all the flowers and view around the Tuscan hills. And the large pool was great and welcome with the unexpected warm June. Even without A/C the temperature in the house was manageable thanks to the thick stone walls, shutter, and fans.The location is perfect to visit Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano … and having some quiets days enjoying the ground and the pool.We really enjoyed the Tuscan meal that Tamara prepared us on the last night.Just for awareness the last mile is a track, and you will need to plan your shopping as the closer shops are around 20-25mins away but will not stop us to come back if possible and have a cuddle with the very well behave dogs and cats.Thank you Tamara, we really enjoyed our stay.

Really beautiful old stone house in the middle of Toscany. The 4 kids and dog could enjoy the big garden and the evening in front of the chimney. The liked very much the open kitchen concept and the lovely interior. Also the bedrooms were big and the beds comfortable. We spend our days outside and in the evenings inside ind the big living room when it was rainy. The kids had a really good time in the playground and garden. Thank you.

A really wonderful place, view over tuscan hills and so much space in nature.
The pool was the heart of our stay in hot July.
All is well equipped, calm and the wonderful host Tamara
very helpful in giving recommendations for little tours
and wine-tasting.
We will come back if possible.

This was a very nice house, very clean pool too. There isn't AC and during the heat wave in July it was a bit of an issue but we coped well with it. Other than that we had a great stay.
