About this house rental
Characteristic stone farmhouse with adjoining barn, located on top of a hill with breathtaking views at only 5 minutes easy walk from the charming medieval village of Radicondoli, west of Siena, Tuscany.
The property has been transformed into a comfortable holiday home provided with all modern comforts and boasting an extensive garden equipped with a private panoramic pool (6 x 12m, depth x 1,20 -2,50m – open April –October)
The accommodation, offered in the main building which has an independent suite and a self-standing barn located just a few meters right in front of it, lends itself perfectly to accommodate groups of friends as well as two or three families of friends who want to spend a pleasant holiday together, and yet have the possibility of enjoying moments of pleasant privacy too.
The interiors have been furnished with love for details in the typical Tuscan style seasoned with some element of modernity.
One of the interesting aspects of this property is given by its location less than 200 meters from the center of the small town easily reachable on foot along a romantic tree-lined avenue, which translates into the possibility of daily experiencing village life, shopping like the locals and going out for dinner without having to drive!
The area offers landscapes of extraordinary beauty where you can go for wonderful walks, on horseback, by bike or even simply by car. It also goes without saying that the main reasons for visiting Tuscany are the numerous art centers, from the villa all easily accessible for half-day excursions, as well food and wine tours far and wide for the whole region.
In the village of Radicondoli guests can find all basic services, such as food shops, butchers, newsagents and tobacconists, bars, restaurants and pizzerias, bank, tennis, etc.
Some distances: Colle Val d'Elsa (all kinds of amenities, golf club, toll free motorway access) 27 km, San Gimignano 35 km, Volterra 38 km, Siena 40 km, Follonica (sandy beaches) 60 km, Florence 80 km, Pisa 105 km.

The house is located on a hill with sweeping views of unspoiled Tuscan landscape. And yet it’s just a short walk into the lovely village of Radicondoli where you have two restaurants, an excellent local butcher, a small supermarket and a local cafe. The 5 bedrooms are located in three separate buildings, each with a kitchen and bathroom. The buildings once belonged to a farm so it’s a typical rural architectural style. The pool is perfect. And the owner is very friendly and comes quickly to deal with any problems. The region around Radicondoli is fascinating to explore with many small hill towns that are off the tourist trail.

Schönes Ferienhaus in guter Lage. Mehr Weingläser und Handtücher wären m. E. erforderlich. Besitzer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Pool ist super.

Wij zijn 2 weken op deze heerlijke plek verbleven met 5 volwassenen. De vriendelijke eigenaar heette ons bij aankomst hartelijk welkom en leidde ons rond. Er waren wat kleine minpunten die wij de volgende dag met hem bespraken, en hij zorgde ervoor dat één en ander geregeld werd. Ook ontbraken bij sommige slaapkamers luiken voor de ramen; hij had zich dat niet gerealiseerd en zou dat dit najaar zeker laten aanbrengen. Nu de pluspunten: het is een fantastische plek om te verblijven; de tuin, het heerlijke zwembad met zeer goede ligbedden. De rust, de ruimte, het leuke dorp Radicondoli met kleine supermarkt, bakker, 2 goede restaurants en een hele goede pizzeria. Leuke steden in de omgeving die de moeite waard zijn om te bezoeken. Wij hebben hier een heerlijke vakantie gehad en komen zéker nog eens terug.

The villa was excellent, perfect for our group (7 adults, 2 young kids). Plenty of space to not feel like we were on top of each other.
The pool area was brilliant, as were the views from all sides of the property.
What really set this villa apart from others we've stayed in was the location. Remote enough to feel away from it all yet a 5 min walk into Radicondoli with a baker, deli, excellent restaurants and bar, it couldn't have been more ideal. There was even a swing park a few mins away that our kids loved.
We wouldn't hesitate to come back again.
