About this apartment rental

Grand T2 located on the 5th and last floor. The apartment is very bright with lots of charm (completely redone late 2014, with new bedding), panoramic view of 270 ° on Dijon. Ideally located in the city center (walking), offering all shops 2 minutes walk (supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, restaurants ...), but also close to the fair (convention center)
The apartment is composed of a large living room of 27m ², a large room with a large closet, a separate toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, a garage, Wifi ... terrace of 34m ² located South facing with an exceptional panoramic view.
As for cleaning: either you do it yourself (0 €) or you do not want to do it and the cost is 20 €

All the room(s) we needed including a spacious balcony, lovely on a sunny day - coffee in the morning; cocktails in the evening. Host made sure we had everything we needed and emphasized his availability if we had questions or problems. Great location to to explore Dijon. Their free navette to get around the city center was a pleasant surprise. Free museum access too!

It was a great apartment in which to base ourselves for 3 days. It was a very easy walk into old town & just a further 10 minutes onto the station for day trips. We had a lovely Italian meal just around the corner from the apartment at Le Sommatino. Clearly a popular restaurant with locals. Gerard collected us from the station on arrival & dropped us back there when we left for Lausanne. This was greatly appreciated.

This is a wonderful apartment. It is very large and bright. The views from the windows are amazing. There is a great terrace, which we did not use, but would be very welcome in warmer weather. The apartment is comfortable, and well equipped. The building itself is clean and safe, and very quiet. It is in a good location, that is close to the old city. Dijon has a great deal to offer. Gerard was helpful and easy to communicate with.

This apartment was perfect for a week long stay in Dijon. The large wrap around balcony allowed me to enjoy the perfect weather for breakfast and afternoon/evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped. The rooms are large and comfortable. Everything is within walking distance. I will definitely try to stay her again if I get back to Dijon.

The apartment is about a 10 minute walk to the centre of Dijon. Round the corner though are restaurants, shops, a small bar and a good sized supermarket. The apartment is light and nicely furnished. The star though is the large balcony with great views over Dijon and surrounding hills. Communicating with Gérard was always straight forward. Highly recommended.

Somebody, that likes do be in a quiet place, but close to town, will love this apartment in the 5th floor with an amazing balcony, including grilling issues and a nice view to the west side of the town. Kitchen ist good equipped, beds in the sleeping room and living room are good.

Very close walking to tourist areas-that Gerard helps you with, and in a neighbourhood setting with all the amenities needed close by. ie groceries, local restaurants, very nice wine store that helped us pick a beautiful bottle etc. The apt itself was lovely! Wrap around balcony with penthouse views. Inside was spacious and modern. Gerard was a gracious and helpful host! Would recommend without hesitation!

Our stay at Gérard's apartment in Dijon was magnificent. The apartment, in a gated building on a quiet residential street, is beautifully decorated, with every imaginable convenience. Best of all is the wrap-around balcony with a priceless view of the lovely spires and towers of Dijon, hills and mountains in the distance. In early October, the sunset every evening was breathtaking. There are four sliding doors onto the balcony, with silent automatic shutters that, when closed, provide absolute darkness for peaceful sleep. The apartment is no more than 10 minutes by foot to the historic area, with lots of pedestrian areas and shops galore. Dijon is full of beautiful old architecture, of many styles and eras, delightful to behold. The Musée des Beaux Arts is not to be missed, in the old Ducal palace, at the helm of a gorgeous plaza. There are several decent restaurants and a supermarket within steps of the apartment, and many, many more restaurants and cafés in the centre ville.We also availed ourselves of Gérard's garage for our rental car, with which we drove extensively throughout Bourgogne, the most upscale wine region imaginable, all easy day-trips from Dijon. Especially Beaune, only 20 miles away, a full day's worth of looking and enjoying. We recommend the Visiobus (6€) for a comfortable overview of the narrow, twisty, cobblestone streets (narration in French), and the Hotel-Dieu Hospices de Beaune is beautiful and moving. When in Burgundy, be sure to have kir, preferably kir royale, boeuf bourguignon, and escargots -- all regional specialities! We will definitely return, and if it is available, we will stay at Gérard's place again!I’d also like to give a plug to a wonderful little restaurant, L’Auberge les Tilleuls, in Messigny-et-Vantoux.

Large, modern, quality apartment, with a big sunny terrace with views. Very comfortable, good shower in roomy bathroom, well equipped kitchen. Just a short interesting walk to the city centre, but the apartment is situated in a nice quartier with interesting antique shop, supermarket and some eateries. We were met at the train station and driven to the apartment in the morning, which was a fabulous plus. No-fuss hosts. Really recommend this place, and would stay here again. Great value for money. A lot better than more expensive places.

We stayed nine nights and enjoyed every moment. The apartment is modern, light-filled, and super-comfortable in every way. And the terrace is magical! We had breakfast each morning, a glass of wine each afternoon, and several dinners on the terrace, which added even more to the delight of being in Dijon. A Casino, a delicious boulangerie, and a yummy take-away pizza place are all just around the corner. A few steps along Place Wilson are Velodi bike rentals -- easy-peasy. Parc Colombiers is a lovely bike ride down Cours General de Gaulle, lined with gorgeous houses. The historical center of Dijon is a short stroll from the apartment. Gerard and Agnes (the owners) are grand. We highly recommend this apartment. You won't be disappointed!

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet, so wie beschrieben, und nahe zum Centrum gelegen. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist überragend. Es hat bei der Übergabe alles perfekt geklappt. Einziges kleines Manko aus unserer Sicht: Das Doppelbett ist recht schmal und die Matratze sehr weich. Das ist aber wohl Geschmacksache.

L appartement est très bien équipé et très lumineux avec une grande terrasse qui doit être bien agréable par beau temps... Le garage est un plus bien utile. L’appartement est bien équipé et rien ne manque pour le confort du voyageur. Une superbe terrasse que les frimas de l’automne ne nous ont pas permis d'apprécier pleinement.
