York House

It was a lovely quaint property right in the centre of town. I cannot fault the communication of the owners. They provided the key lock code in good time and asked if I needed anything. The instructions for the stay were clear and easy to find and the property provided all the facilities we needed. It was local to the Spar too so we were able to pick up some milk and breakfast bits quite easily. The beds were made up to hotel standard which I thought was a fantastic touch and the living room was comfortable. The shower was just right and they were really generous with the amount of towels they provided, although we didn’t need as many. I also liked the paintings on the walls.

The only thing I wasn’t keen on was the door lock, or lack of one. It closed but I felt that someone could get in with enough force. I was surprised there was no chain or catch available for security, but having said that, such measures probably aren’t needed in that area with it being so quiet. I’ve always lived in areas where house burglaries are common, so I think the lack of a lock did surprise me.

York House is lovely! Very central to Conwy amenities! The house was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for a short stay.

Location. Very comfortable and warm.

Oven needs a clean.

Excellent location and great rate.

A pod coffee maker would be great, and the towels were a bit smelly.
