About this house rental
house in a medieval village in the hinterland of Nice, facing south and overlooking a beautiful garden with arbor, reserved for tenants. quiet and sunny, enjoying a breathtaking view of the Pre-Alps ... The house is 20km from Nice and the sea and on the road to the Mercantour National Park (approx, 40km
The layout of the house is as follows: on the 1st level: living room with sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom.
2nd level: 2 bedrooms (each with a double bed) and a bathroom with walk-in shower.
There are about 12 steps to access the 1st level, therefore raised above the garden and then 1 floor to access the bedrooms.
The house is located in Berre itself but not in the small streets of the village; the entrance is place Bellevue.
The rental price does not include the supply of linen or the cleaning costs which may be requested in addition. During certain periods (March-April or September October) a supplement for heating can be requested as an option.
Pets are accepted for an additional € 30 per animal

Wir verbrachten eine wunderbare Zeit in dem charmanten Haus. Es war definitiv alles vorhanden was man benötigt... ob zum Kochen oder zum sonstigen täglichen Leben... wir waren angenehm überrascht auch Dinge vorzufinden, die nicht in der Beschreibung standen wie zum Beispiel eine Kaffeemaschine und ein kleiner Gefrierschrank.
Der große Balkon mit traumhafter Aussicht und auch der Garten lassen einen Frühstück und Essen genießen.
Der Anfahrtsweg nach Berre des Alpes ist wegen der Serpentinen etwas gewöhnungbedürftig, nach ein paar Fahrten klappt das aber recht gut. Leider gibt es im Ort selbst kein Lebensmittelgeschäft mehr, aber in knapp 10 Kilometer entfernten Trinité gibt es einen sehr guten Supermarkt (Intermarché) der alles bietet was man braucht.
Gleich neben dem Ferienhaus gibt es eine gute Pizzeria und ein Hotelrestaurant, wo man günstig und gut essen kann und auch Croissants für das Frühstück bekommen kann.
Leider haben wir die Hausbesitzer nicht kennengelernt. Das beauftragte Ehepaar in der Nachbarschaft ist aber mit allem vertraut, sehr nett und hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen.
Alles in allem fühlten wir uns absolut wohl in dem urigen Bergdorf mit seinen liebenswerten Bewohnern. Mit etwas Glück bekamen wir immer einen Parkplatz direkt am Haus oder mussten auf einen der weitern Parkplätze in der Nähe ausweichen... alle Plätze im Ort sind kostenlos.

Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour et en gardons un excellent souvenir. Les photos sur le site sont exactes, le petit jardin clos est parfait, la vue est superbe des deux côtés. La situation sur la place Bellevue est parfaite.
L'arrêt de bus à 50m sur le parking permet d'aller facilement à Contes, Coaraze et Nice, et surtout d'économiser la voiture qui peine dans les virages en épingle ...
Le kiosque à pizzas sur la place Bellevue et l'Intermarché à Contes sont très pratiques. Nous avons acheté de jolies céramiques à la petite épicerie.
L'abondante documentation touristique dans le salon est d'autant plus précieuse que l'office du tourisme est fermé. Quelques randonnées sympa et faciles autour de Berre.
Un grand merci à Madame Guerra et aux charmants voisins pour leur accueil.
