About this cottage rental

Old bread oven with studs set in an orchard. Quiet area with shops nearby, an hour of the Normandy coast, Honfleur or Rouen. The Bernay train station (12 minutes) you can reach Paris in about 1:20. Bernay has been classified 'Town of Art and History' with its beautiful half-timbered houses and its church. The owner can advise on hiking trails in the area and various tourist attractions (the Bec Hellouin, the Harcourt castles, valley of the Seine ....).

The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events. The apple juice left for us was very welcome and the use of the BBQ was excellent as we had such good weather. The gite is well equipped (apart from BBQ utensils) and very clean. We would highly recommend and the owners are at hand for any queries you may have. Thank you for making our stay so nice.

Nous avons bien apprécié, mon fils et moi, ce joli gîte avec jardin très bien entretenu. De plus en tant que maman solo, je me sentais en sécurité pour passer de bonne nuit. Volets et propriétaire pas loin... Je garde l adresse pour une prochaine fois ☺️👌

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour ! Le calme et la situation du gîte permettent une déconnexion totale ...Les conseils sur place ont été précieux ! Nous aimons encore plus cette région et nous reviendrons sans hésiter ! N’hesitez pas, la Normandie quand on y a goûter on ne peut plus s’en passer !

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans ce gîte. Amabilité et cadeau de bienvenue des propriétaires, merci beaucoup ! Le jardin clôturé était un vrai plus pour nos deux petits chiens.

Es ist ein sehr schönes und sauberes kleines und stilvolles Haus. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön und zweckgebunden. Eine sehr gepflegte Gartenanlage wie man es sich wünscht. Einfach gesagt, hier passt einfach alles. Die Vermieter sind freundlich und nett. Wir hatten nur ein wenig mit der Sprache Schwierigkeit. Es war ein Bilderbuchurlaub. Nochmals Danke für die schönen Tage.

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil, le gite et surtout le jardin clôturé. Ma chienne était aussi en vacances, un espace de jeu idéal pour parti de ballon et frisbee. Calme assuré pour les marmottes qui veulent faire la grâce matinée.

Véritable havre de paix. Un accueil chaleureux, de générosité, de gentillesse le tout accompagné d’un sourire autant de la part des propriétaires que de l’ensemble des habitants de la région. Le gîte est très bien situé avec la mer à Deauville +- 55 kms, Lisieux et sa cathédrale +- 35 kms, un magnifique zoo Cerza à +- 30kms ainsi que la fromagerie Graindorge et son musée sans oublier bon nombre de producteurs de calvados, dont le « Lieu chéri » pour ne citer, que lui. Les commerces à Bernay +- 7 kms. On pourrait écrire des pages sur l’endroit. Seul bémol, il est fort à parier que d’ici peu il faudra anticipativement louer à long terme pour avoir une place de libre.

Quand on arrive dans ce gîte, on est tout de suite séduit par la beauté du site. Au bout d'une belle allée, bordée de peupliers, la maison nous apparait à droite, belle et coquette. A l'intérieur, l'espace de séjour est parfait pour nous, parents de deux enfants. Notre chambre au rez et la salle de bain sont propres et bien entretenues tout comme les chambres du haut que nous avons réservées à nos deux filles. Nous avons pu profiter tout au long de notre séjour de la terrasse. Le temps était ensoleillé, les grillades au barbecue faisaient l'unanimité. Ce bel endroit sera apprécié par tous ceux pour qui aiment la campagne, les beaux paysages et les régions chargées d'histoires...
