Check-in was quick and easy with Madame Labouret, along with her brother being available, and the house was very neat and tidy. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. I cannot recommend this house more highly! It was a pure slice of paradise.

We were impressed from the moment we arrived. Such a beautiful location, and a stunning property.
It felt very authentic and homely, we could have definitely stayed longer.
The hosts Myriam and Alan made us feel very welcome and we loved meeting them both.

This has to be one of the best locations and holiday we have ever had in France. We have stayed for 2 weeks in this beautiful restored farmhouse in the Loire. Set in the woods, with a small stream, and immediately on arrival you feel the peace and tranquillity. This house is both very tasteful furnished, with lots of character, and decorated to a very high standard. All the rooms have their own charm, and at the same time are extremely functional. The kitchen has everything you need, and comes with all the electrical accessories you could wish for. Outside you are surrounded by woods, and you can relax in the lounge chairs, or just sit around the table and enjoy a glass of wine. After dinner outside in the evening, you can then return inside and feel warmth of the log fire, and what a great way to end your day.This part of the Loire is full of history and there are many wonderful chateau’s to visit, and many beautiful little villages to visit and enjoy. We visited many and have lots on our list for our return visit.Our hosts were exceptional, and we cannot speak highly enough of them. They were on hand to answer any questions, but at the same time gave us our own privacy. Nothing was too much to ask. It goes without saying that we intend to return next year to this wonderful destination, and really would like to keep this all to ourselves.
