BERCK Mairie, beautiful 3/4 p apartment, exceptional condition to see and review.

Excellent accueil, appartement pas loin à pied de quelques commerces (boulangeries, mini supermarché, 1 restaurant). Supermarchés à 5mn en voiture. Plage à 10mn en voiture. L'appartement était propre et bien amenagé, télé avec Netflix inclue! Parfait pour 4 personnes - 2 grandes chambres et grand salon/cuisine. Salle de bain très bien amenagée, propre, moderne. Petit WC à cote. Le seul inconvenient était qu'il n'y avait pas assez d'assiettes, couverts, verres etc. Avec le lave-vaisselle, ca aurait été mieux d'avoir plus de stock. C'etait une bonne base pour explorer les environs. On retournerait avec plaisir!

Olympia was a perfect host , nothing was too much bother . Made you feel at home from the minute you arrived . Highly recommended. Would without doubt book again

The flat is modern and spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. The living room and kitchen are open plan with a lot of natural light and is perfect for 4 people maximum. Brits might be shocked by the absence of kettle and mugs but us French can cope with the hob and a bowl; it just adds a continental charm! The fridge is on the small side. The flat is on the first floor above the owner’s house with a communal entrance. There is no safety gate for young children at the top of the stairs so we had to keep an eye on our daughter but that was perfectly manageable. There is a parking space in front of the flat. Olympia and her mum are very, very welcoming and we had a lovely stay. There is a huge supermarket just around the corner and enough bakery to feed an army. The boulangerie Pouleur, 2/300 yards away is very swish and makes wonderful croissant. Do try the “berckoise” which is a patisserie with cream and Rhum. Another 100 yards and you can buy your newspaper, another 200 and you are at a fishmonger. You only need a car to go to the beach which is a couple of miles away. Parking is free in Berck, this is such a good idea! More money to spend on ice cream and chips. The beach in berck is as big as they come, at low tide you might walk a km to get to the water. Sand castle anyone? We also had the most enjoyable afternoon at the bay of Authie where a colony of seals has chosen to leave. I have counted 73 of them. I don’t think you can go in the water here as the currents are dramatic but there are a few small pools which is enough for young children. It is very wild and beautiful so understandably is rather busy but again the space is huge. There is a van which sells “moules frites” and ice cream. Oh, and guess what, the large and always rather full car park is free. What a wonderful stay that was.

We enjoyed our stay very much . Our hostesses were very friendly and helpful. We found the local restaurants very good. The Berck beach was wonderful especially the one that had the seals. We spent many afternoons watching them swimming around. The apartment was spacious and the amenities for cooking were good. If we go to France again we would certainly stay there again.

Beautiful and spacious. Very modern and ultra clean. Olympia is fantastic and the unit is well placed with good parking. One of the best places we stayed in Europe.

A family of four, we are two adults with 2 children (11 & 10) and a dog. Olympia met us on arrival and couldn't do enough to help us with our stay. Olympia and her mother were great hosts throughout the week and were on hand to help us if we needed it. The property is an upstairs maisonette with two good sized, well lit double bedrooms. There is a living space is large and roomy too with a well-stocked kitchen. A coffee machine and microwave are provided for your french breakfasts! There is also a full modern bathroom suite with shower and bath which was immaculate and well presented. Fresh & clean bedding and towels were provided by the lovely Olympia. The property is situated on a busy transit route through Berck but the property is more than adequately insulated from any noise pollution. It is located a short drive or a medium walk from the beaches of Berck and there is a multitude of small shops, a Tabac and three or four Boulangeries for your needs 200m from the front door as well as the usual daily market. Only a two-minute drive away is a very large Carrefour Supermarket, McDonlad's, Burger King et al, an Aldi & a Lidl. We traveled the coast to Boulogne, Le Touquet, and Etaples during our stay as well as hanging around the house. It was a superb stay and fantastic value for money. I hope I can persuade my family to return for the Kite Festival in April.

An upstairs apartment, very spacious and well equipped. Spotlessly clean and recently refurbished to a very high standard. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom has both bath and shower, there is a separate toilet, which is thoughtful. The kitchen has all amenities including microwave and hob, as well as a sizeable fridge. There is a comfortable sitting area and dining table with four chairs. The central heating works extremely well which was appreciated on a cold night. For longer stays, the owners could consider installing an oven. For us British who cannot survive without tea, another helpful addition would be a kettle. What makes this apartment stand out are the owners and their incredible warmth and hospitality. On arrival we settled in and within minutes were being offered a warming rum cocktail as a reminder of Martinique, from where the owners originate. Totally charming and delightful, we couldn't have chosen a better place to spend New Year's eve. We shall return with our two sons when the spring is here. Until then we wish the owners, Alexandra, Olympia and the bouncy dog Rex a very Happy and Successful New Year.
