This rustic three-bedroom cottage features ocean views from two of the main bedrooms, along with a private lower-level sitting area and bathroom that offers additional space and flexibility. The home includes a camp-style kitchen and a separate dining area highlighted by wood-beam ceilings, adding to its classic Maine cottage charm.
An exterior staircase leads directly down to flat, open rock ledges at the water’s edge — ideal for exploring, relaxing, or simply enjoying the sound of the waves. The cottage is within walking distance of the Rachel Carson Salt Pond Reserve, perfect for shell collecting and shoreline walks.
Spruceholm is also just a short distance from Shaw’s Wharf, a working fishing wharf with a popular restaurant and raw bar, and the departure point for Hardy Boat Puffin Watch Cruises, which run daily and offer a memorable coastal adventure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at SpruceholmCottage. The cottage itself is charming, comfortable and well located and we a absolutely loved being so close to the water! We certainly hope to return someday.

Beautiful ocean view all day long.. from the early morning sunrise over the porch to lobsterman on his route and always the sound of the waves. Cottage is love worn and comfortable but has everything you could need.

The property was in a beautiful location..The cabin needed updated ..the deck had been redone but a few boarda not tacked down..great views. Nice size living room and fully stocked kitchen.as far as utensils and cooking geer..Clean but outdated..
