Tignes Val Claret: Apartment block "Le Pramecou (Val Claret)". In a quiet, sunny position, directly by the skiing area. In the complex: lift, central heating system. Shopping centre 200 m, restaurant, bar 100 m, bakery 200 m, bus stop 500 m, indoor swimming pool 2 km. Sports centre 2 km, skisport facilities 100 m. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Espace Tignes et Val D'Isère. 100 m. Please note: groups of teenagers on request only. Ski bus (free of charge). Additional accommodations can be booked. All houses/apartments are individually designed/furnished.
2-room apartment 42 m2 on 4th floor. Living/dining room with 1 pull-out bed (2 pers. 2 x 80 cm), TV. 1 room with 1 french bed (140 cm). Entrance hall with 2 wall-trunk beds (80 cm). We booked this apartment for five people for a week's skiing. On arrival, we were disappointed to note issues. Firstly, the bunk-beds are in the corridor by the bathroom/toilet (not in an alcove as we expected). As a result you can't open the bathroom door fully when the beds are out, and the people sleeping in them are woken in the night by people going to the loo. We "solved" this by putting our deepest sleeper there and others in the living room, but it did mean 3/5 people having to fully pack up their beds daily. Secondly, there were significant maintenance issues, such as dodgy electric fittings, rickety furniture and some slightly iffy looking pillows. We reported these to the agency, which, given the long list of complaints, resulted in prompt action and most things being fixed quickly. Note that while the apartment is on the 4th floor, it's on a hill, which means it's the equivalent of the 1st floor, so you do hear everything that's going on outside. Not so great for our two light sleepers. There were some good things: the kitchen is mostly new and there is lots of hot water for the shower. The living room -is- big, which meant we were not tripping over each other. The block is well located, not near to noisy bars, but a very short walk to be able to ski. And as I say the agency customer service was helpful. Note this is a budget apartment. So while you can hire bedding and towels, you need to bring/buy everything else: tea towels, bath mat, dish soap, hand soap x 2, dish sponges. We did get given a single loo roll! There's a supermarket a five minute walk away in town. We had a good holiday - we particularly liked the swish Whitney Bar at the Nevada Hotel with its enormous resident St Bernard dog. (Try the hot chocolate!) Skiing was very good too. Overall this is a basic, budget flat that could do with some TLC. Better for 2-4 people than the 6 it's listed for, and you need at least one deep sleeper and a sense of humour!

Het appartement is in redelijke staat, maar kan wel wat verbeteringen krijgen. Er is wat tocht door de ramen, en de wasbak in de keuken zit los. De badkamer is prima, maar kitranden en houtwerk zijn gedateerd en doen wat onhygiënisch aan. Wat alles uiteindelijk goed maakt, is de prima ligging in het dorp t.o.v. winkels en skiliften.

Un appartement ou il ne manque rien...très bien localisé système de lut pour enfant vraiment ingénieux on passe chaque été de super vacances pourquoi changer quand celui-ci nous convient parfaitement Je recommande les yeux fermés

Points positifs : Appartement très bien situé et agréable. La literie est de bonne qualité et la disposition et l'agencement plutôt bien. Dommage que le lavabo soit abimé, le rideau de douche plus que passé et un bidet dont le joint ne tenait plus (heureusement il y avait une serpillère). Enfin les fenêtres auraient besoin d'une révision (simple vitrage, et poignée d'une fenêtre qui tenait on ne sait comment….). Les poêles trop abimées sont restées dans le placard. Assiettes, verres, couverts en quantité suffisantes. Nous y avons passé une bonne semaine malgré les quelques points négatifs relevés.
