Basic but good value flat

Good location, walkable to the city centre and also Hampden. Good value for a large flat. Big living room with plenty seats. Great communication and an accommodating host. Nothing fancy, but does a job. Very comfortable beds.

Watch out for the deposit required, in the booking terms. Slightly rough round the edges, damage and small marks. Dog barking in the flat downstairs all night, and watch out for dog mess when taking the bins out when you leave.

Good value and easy access by bus to city centre.

Very good value for money. Close and very regular bus into city centre. Free on street parking. Spacious apartment with comfortable beds. Not the smartest of areas but it was ideal for our needs.

£300 deposit taken after paying to cover any damages which wiil be refunded and more security details to fill in than if you were flying somewhere! No bath towel in one bedroom and just one towel in each of the other bedrooms.

Dirty stairs. Overall it was an average in terms of cleaning. The apartment itself is old. The staff was rude. Book of unbearable rules you get once booked, when you can not cancel your booking.

Dirty entrance and troubling stay

Good location with free road side parking. Good size bedrooms. Useful to have dishwasher and washing machine. Inside of the flat was clean.

Boiler didn’t work. Although we confirmed the arrival time, the whole flat was cold as the temperature was set for 15 degree C. Not welcoming for families with kids. The boiler stopped working halfway through my son’s shower! A nightmare situation!! Response from the host was slow and wasn’t sympathetic. Sofabed was in bad shape, not comfortable. Entrance to the building is very dirty and stairs are smelly. Kitchen exhaust did not work. Carpet edges are coming off. Duvet cover was torn and buttons were missing. Thermostat control was limited and preprogrammed. Annoying!! Don’t feel it was worth the money.

Required to pay extra deposite that does not mention in Booking.com. Kitchen light was broken. Require update for the instruction menu as the Net the thermometer was located in the hallway instead of under the TV as the menu instructed.

Flat is Good to stay. But read the deposit terms before book.

The flat was clean and tidy. Big enough for us 2 family to stay. Location is good, Not far away from city centre. Quite warm. Staff replied fast and let us check out 30mins late without charge.

Request to paid £300 deposit before check in, which I have paid the whole amount already via booking. First time experience with this, I thought it was scam. Got the refund in a week.

Basic, but very good value for money

-Location of this apartment is ideal if visiting Glasgow for an event in Hampden, Bus stop around the corner to get into the City Centre which is less then 10 minutes away. -The correspondence with the host is very good, answered all my queries which is helpful. -The inside of the apartment itself is comfortable and everything was in working order.

-The outside of the apartment is very run down looking, but gets better inside. -The room was booked for 8 people, luckily one person pulled out late on so there was only one person on the couch as there were only bedding for 6 people. - There was damp bedding in the wardrobes when we arrived.

CLEAN

The Apartment was spotless, and had an Aldi, Greggs nearby. Some of the carpets looked quite new

On arrival we were quite shocked to see the entrance to the apartment, it was not very inviting. However we collected the key from the key box easily enough. We also had two elderly Mums with us and they found it difficult going up and down the stairs as one flight did not have a handrail. The apartment itself, was spotlessly clean, however we did have a few issues. When we opened the wardrobes to hang some clothes up, we found bedding (some damp) handing in the wardrobe, and left no room for our clothes. The bedding was a washed out and in our opinion could do with being replaced, as could the pillows. The bathroom was grand, however a bath mat in the bath could be useful as it is very slippery, and as the shower is over the bath it would be a good idea to have a mat. The kitchen was tiny, but had all the facilities you would need. However even though the apartment sleeps up to 6 people there were only 3 forks and we had to go and buy a cheap set in Aldi. The dressing table stool in one bedroom had wobbly legs, and would need to be fixed in case someone injuries themselves. To be honest the greatest issue we had was the fact that damp bedding was left to dry inside wardrobes. I feel with a little love and attention and updating this apartment could be so much better.

Apart from the unfortunate incident of the shower and not being able to get the internet to work fin

Breakfast was not included. The flat was a good size and there was enough crockery for our needs. Also, after a hunt plenty of towels. The Landlord did at least answer the phone and ring me back.

Unfortunately when we arrived there was a flood in the bathroom, it appeared the shower was leaking. we contacted the landlord who did send out a plumber the next day but he said it needed a part which he did fix the next morning which was day we left which made using the bathroom very difficult.
