About this apartment rental

The core renovated apartment in 2017 on 120 sqm is located in the historic Ludwigstrasse, the most beautiful street in the distance. It offers you a unique view of the entire mountain world from the Karwendel Mountains and the Wetterstein Mountains with the Zugspitze and Alpspitze to the Kramer and Wank.
The decor is luxurious. Of particular note are the natural wood floors (oak planks) and the modern bathrooms. The living area extends to about 70 square meters and combines living room with dining area and open high-gloss kitchen. There are also 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You can use a combination of washing machine and dryer.

You will find a wide range of shops nearby.
You will feel very comfortable!
Garmisch-Partenkirchen is located between Munich and Innsbruck. Excursions to the nearby royal castles and Tyrol are easy to do.

Loved the location and views of this place. Can't beat the old town. We lucked out that it was ascension day and a procession/parade took place down the street. Comfortable beds and nicely decorated home. The internet was different how we had to keep logging back in so we ended up buying an e-sim to use for travel since the speed was faster that way.

There were three of us in our party and we all were impressed with this property. The view was as advertised and gorgeous. Within walking distance, one can find anything one needs. There are several great restaurants nearby. The owner left a helpful list for us. I am also impressed with his responsiveness to a request we had. We all highly recommend this accommodation. We had a good stay in the roomy appartment on the 3rd floor. One car could be parked next to the location, one in an affordable parking garage located nearby. There were a lot of shops and restaurants in the beatiful street and a bakery and supermarket were close. The beds were ok, so was the kitchen and the utensils, plates and glasswork. A few minor things could be slightly better like the tile floor and chairs or places to leave clothes in the bedrooms . The panoramic view was really like advertised.

The views and location of this apartment cannot be beat, and the included parking space was super convenient. We rented this apartment as part of our girls trip to visit Bavarian sites and Christmas markets. The apartment was a perfect fit for 3 adults and 2 children. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you could need. The location is perfect for exploring Garmisch-Partenkirchen, visiting zugspitze and a quick day trip to Neuschwanstein. We did encounter a couple of issues but property management was very responsive. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Perfectly located, nicely appointed apartment located on Ludwigstrasse in Partenkirchen. Great views of the Zugspitze and the ski runs and ski jump and located near wonderful restaurants and bakery. And free parking for one car. It was perfect for us.

Our group of three adults and three children had an amazing stay in the apartment! The location is great - close to everything and very pretty. The apartment is spacious, beautifully furnished and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is very nice and well equipped. The communication with the property owner was prompt and efficient. We made great memories and would go back in a heartbeat!

Very nice apartment with stunning views in excellent location. By excellent location I mean - we did not use our car for entire stay in Garmish-Partenkirchen, everything was accessible by foot. Although apartment has some signs of worn out, it is still very nice and modern. Well equipped kitchen.

The property was absolutely gorgeous with stunning views! It was very clean and modern with a great kitchen bathrooms and bedrooms. The apartment was located on the historic Ludwigsburg Strasse and was directly across from a bank and a wonderful fresh fruit and vegetable market! The only thing we found lacking was the bed in the master bedroom, the mattress was tilted and very uncomfortable. However this can be remedied and we would love to stay at this property again!

We stayed in this property just for 2 nights, but got amazingly lucky in that when midnight hit on NYE, we were treated to a birds eye view of what felt like everyone in Garmisch-Partenkirchen shooting up fireworks all around us. From the balcony we sat as a family and took it all in. What a fun surprise! The property is right on the historic walking and shopping street. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Everything was clean, modern but cozy, and comfortable.

We had a lovely stay in Garmisch in a nice little flat in a beautiful part of town with amazing views! The kitchen and rooms were sufficient, but as others had mentioned there are not bedside tables to put items. We did have an issue with the door of the washer not opening. It was broken and someone had left bed linens in the washer. We attempted several times via phone and email to contact the property manager, but never got a response. It was over the Christmas holiday, but I had hoped someone would eventually respond. My husband YouTubed the problem and we used a credit card to open the latch. I finally got to wash my clothes. I even rewashed a load of their sour bed linen. In the end, it was a nice trip. The views are worth it!

The view from the balcony was spectacular. Apartment was well located, with plenty of privacy. Modern and well kept. No parking, to speak of….we had to park several blocks away in an underground parking garage, due to construction by the apartment.

The apartment was lovely. The owner was always available to answer questions. The view gorgeous and location in the center of lovely Partenkirchen was perfect. The only negative was the number of stairs we had to climb to get to the apartment. We were not prepared for that. We were a group of seniors in our 70’s (one in his 90’s) and climbing those stairs especially with luggage was a challenge. Otherwise - we had a lovely stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy apartment. It was clean and included everything we needed during our stay. The location was a perfect base for day trips to the Zugspitze and Füssen area castles. In the evenings, several wonderful restaurants were steps away. The Alps view can’t be beat, and it was particularly helpful to have a dedicated parking space steps from the apartment. The host was responsive to our questions as we settled in on our first day.

This spacious apartment, with its grand view of the Alps is perfectly located in the historic Ludwigstrasse of Garmisch Partenkirchen, from where you can reach fantastic hiking spots on foot or easily get to the Zugspitze and other Bavarian areas like Mittenwald and Oberammergau.

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean. As said by some previous people - check in process wasn't fantastic. This wasn't helped as I didn't have my mobile working overseas but there was no contact via email ahead about the process. There were stairs, but easily manageable. The apartment had fantastic views of the mountains and had plenty of room. Just outside our door you are on the main street in the old town, close to everything. Would definitely recommend to stay here when in Garmisch.

The apartment is in the historic area and is impressive. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and large dinning room table allowed for family gathering. We will be back hopefully this ski season.

The property is nicely upgraded and in a wonderful location. Lots of stairs, but not unexpected. The host was very prompt to our inquiries but was very curt. There were very few amenities, soap, shampoo, towels, sheets etc. included. We travel frequently and consider the proplems considerable. The locations and views from the property nearly overcome any deficiencies.

You cannot beat the location of this nice, up to date third floor apartment on the Ludwigstrasse in G-P. The owner / manager Thomas was very responsive with our change requests and requests for additional information regarding the property. A couple of small minor issues were quickly corrected and overall we found the location and the apartment to be quite good. We cooked in a lot and there were plenty of pots / pans / dishware and utensils. It's on the third floor so the view of the mountains was breathtaking.

We spent 2 weeks touring Austria and Germany and this was our favorite VRBO! It is spacious, open, airy and full of light. Every window has a stunning view. Everything is clean, new and efficient. The kitchen has everything you need. We loved it here! The location is ideal as there are fantastic restaurants and bakeries on the street below and lots of hiking that can be done from town. The train and bus station is an easy safe walk (just under a mile) away making public transportation a great option for getting to and from here. We highly recommend this apartment.

It was our first time back in Garmische for over 20 years and it was better than I ever imagined. The whole family had an absolutely great time - the area is amazing and the location of the apartment is absolutely perfect. Great views of the mountains in the mornings from the balcony and so central if you want to pop out to walk the streets in the evening. We had an BRILLIANT time here and I would 100% recommend it to anyone else considering the area.

We came to Garmisch Partenkirchen enroute back to Scotland after a busy trip to Rome and Venice. We needed a place to chill and rest, and the apartment was perfect for that. Very central in the historic Ludwigstrasse so fabulous atmosphere. Also close (5 minute walk) to large food store and GaPa’s best ‘non-trad’ pub (The Irish Bar). Plenty to do - good walks, nice restaurants on the doorstep etc. Apartment is at the top of the building so nice and quiet. A great size - very spacious. Two toilets, two showers and a bath were great for a family of four.

This was a beautiful apartment, just perfect. The views were amazing. We were a group of six, and we all felt we had plenty of room in the apartment. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was amazing, however, being from the USA, we couldn’t figure out how to use the stove top. The washer/dryer combo was also different from anything we have ever used, was difficult to figure out. Our trip was during a tim3 when COVID was spiking in Germany. Venues were requesting rapid testing (schnell testing) to attend indoor events. We unsuccessfully tried several sites. We finally discovered the Visitor Center in Garmisch. They were very helpful in giving us direction. We were also appreciative of the German government for allowing us to be tested free of charge. We communicated prior to arrival with Thomas, however, never met him. We did meet his brother once, Florian.
