The place was excellent and the only improvement I suggest is that it is better communicated that the laundry is shared and coin operated. An apartment info sheet also was missing so info about how to use the laundry, where the bins are located etc - easy enough to ask the owners who communicated promptly though! 5/5 we will definitely stay again!

My wife and I traveled with another couple and this place was fantastic. It’s in the perfect location. Literally a 5 minute walk from the train station, grocery and the main walk for shopping, restaurants and bars. We had a beautiful view of the town and could see the top of the Matterhorn The property management was super helpful and they even have a book in the apartment with best restaurants and other tips. I would 100% recommend this property.

Pros: Bed linens were clean and soft. Pleasant for sleeping. Towels were clean, fluffy, and large, one set of bath, face, and wash for each guest only. Owners provided enough coffee pods, some fresh fruits, and a container of milk. There were dishwasher cleaner tablets, salt, pepper, oil, sugar packets, tea bags, hot chocolate packets. The owners/rental folk are responsive to texts and emails and kindly allowed us to store our luggage in the rental on our last day after check out time so we could do our activities without having to use train station lockers. This was a very nice gesture and much appreciated. Cons: Washers (2) and Dryers (2) are in the basement, this was known. However, renters (i.e. short term vrbo-ers) are mandated to only do laundry from 8am - 4pm and it is coin operated with extremely limited directions on how the coin operation works. Take heed that the times you are supposed to do laundry are probably the times when you will want to be out and about. The unit is on the 6th floor, there is an elevator, however, in the summer it can be stuffy and hot. There is no air conditioning, there are windows, but no screens, and no fans, so bugs can present a problem and in the hot summer months, it is difficult to stay cool. There was only a very small bar of soap provided, for four guests it was not enough. Consider bringing your own soap. Also consider your own shampoo and conditioner as this was limited in supply also.

Could not have been happier with the accommodations. 5 minute walk to train station, Gornergrat railway and center of Zermatt. Perfect for our group of 4 adults. View out over town was beautiful. Kitchen had everything you would need. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend
