This delightful apartment is conveniently located by the river and offers uninterrupted views of the Matterhorn and surrounding mountains. Just minutes from the Sunnegga departure station and close to the Gornergrat train station, main train station and the village centre this apartment is perfect for families who want a a quiet stay while still being close to all amenities. This apartment comprises of two bedrooms and two bathrooms and is fully equipped with everything needed for a self catered break.

A perfect family ski apartment.

A perfect family ski apartment.

This is a lovely apartment on a high floor with a terrific view of the Matterhorn from the large balcony, sitting room and kitchen. The kitchen has excellent appliances and a good selection of cutlery, plates and glasses. You can make an event of dining here. Blankets, cushions, high end furnishings and some great flair with the design makes it feel wonderfully cosy, especially once you light the wood fire. Location is excellent if you are starting your day on Sunnegga or the Gornergrat train. We rented at flexrent where you can store kit so walks were not in ski boots. Supermarkets and bakeries within 5 minute walk. Lesley made us very welcome, this place is genuinely 5 star.

The property is fantastic! The view from the balcony as we drank coffee in the morning was only surpassed by the view while drinking wine in the afternoon. Our family of four (two teenagers) spent 3 nights here 6/24 - 6/26. We all had plenty of room to spread out. The loft area has two day beds perfect for kids. Downstairs had loads of room for all of us. The apartment is very conveniently located to the main train station and everything else you will need for a wonderful stay is close. Stuart had a taxi waiting for us at the train station and then met us at the front door of the apartment. There was fresh fruit and chocolates waiting inside. They even had a fresh bottle of milk for us so we could make “proper” English tea, as Stuart pointed out to us (even though we are Americans from Florida). He gave us a very thorough tour of the apartment and also suggestions for our family for activities and shopping. There is a washing machine and drying rack (no dryer). Lesley was very helpful with booking and getting an international wire transfer worked out. Don’t pass this property up, you will be very happy here!
