In the Heart of Old Destin. Sunchase town-homes are the original highly-desired beaches of Destin, and you can't get a better seat. You will be within walking distance to some of Destin's favorite Restaurants. 1 block from the Whales Tale There's no pool here, but the ocean is all yours. Just step off your deck onto your own beach.
A 5 min drive of outlet malls, many restaurants, and other retail shopping. Want to go to the Destin Harbor, then give yourself ten minutes driving time, and you're there.

Purchased in 2013 this newly remodeled unit is a 'no smoking, no pets. It has 2 Bedrooms which sleep between two to eight people. The unit comes fully equipped has a King Size master bedroom overlooking the ocean with a private balcony. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and twin bed with trundle bed. The guest bedroom also has its own full bath, lastly, a foldout queen in the living room with half bath provides three separate private sleeping spaces. There is a full kitchen and 2.5 baths. It comes with a 3 Flatscreen TV's including a 70' in the living room and a DVD Player. The Full Kitchen is equipped with appliances, dishes, silverware, and cookware. There are linens, towels, and a private Washer / Dryer for your convenience in the master bedroom for your convenience.
The two private balconies are equipped with chairs for a relaxing evenings in the breeze. A gated private staircase allows all renters direct access to the beach and beach level balcony with an outdoor shower and beach chairs to take to the beach, The scenery is complete with both a breathtaking view of the Gulf and the sounds of the waves breaking on the beach.
The Master bedroom is next to the ocean so you can hear the waves even with the doors closed.
There is one designated parking spot for this rental that accommodates 2 standard cars, and it is directly in front of the unit.
Beach Time

The simplicity of this property fit our needs perfectly. Everything is exactly as listed. Communication ahead of our trip was very thorough. The proximity was close enough to the beach that it wasnt a chore to get set up each day. Being the end unit, there was some territorial tensions the first day with the neighboring property. We were lucky that our numbers combined with those of the lower unit were not any greater in number so that we were not on top of each other but it was tighter than we expected. We prefer the private beach/smaller property beach to the high rises and are willing to pay a higher cost to have that space. Our experience may be an outlier, but knowing it is a shared unit beach space and exactly where (in reference to the unit) is helpful. The property sits much closer to the street than other places we have stayed so the late night noise and cart traffic was more than expected. Being directly across from a convenience store probably accounted for most of that but it is present nonetheless. We loved the fact that we could be at any number of restaurants within 10 minutes. Overall, we had a wonderful time.We will definitely consider this property again in the future.

Positive: The location of the property is perfect. Beautiful beach and walking distance from shops, coffee, and bar. If you only care about the location and will spend minimal time in the house, it’s probably perfect for you. Large TV’s were nice for relaxing at night.
Negative: Beds were horribly uncomfortable. Probably our biggest reason for 3 stars. This was a trip away from young kids and unfortunately, we don’t feel rested. Additionally, although it’s advertised, the one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one trash bag, one roll of paper towel, etc etc..was a bit inconvenient. The rest of the furniture (couch) was also uncomfortable. All in all, I think improved furniture and a few extra supplies would make this a 5 star rating.
