About this apartment rental
The Lodge is just a short walk to Lake Superior`s rocky shore where you can swim, paddle in our included kayaks & canoes, or collect rocks. We are also across from another inland lake that is great for swimming. Just 5 minutes from the nearest restaurant and 30 minutes from Pictured Rocks or Marquette`s infamous black rocks, this is a great central location in a quiet, rural setting. You can see the Northern lights, eagles, sun and moonrises and shooting stars!
You do not have a direct view of the lake from the cabin, but the property contains 300` of Lake Superior shoreline.
Our resort amenities include a public pavilion, firepit, and shared deck overlooking the lake for Superior views.
I am located at the same property and am available anytime you need me. I like to allow guests to initiate how much interaction they would prefer with me as the host.
We have a resort with 7 rentals and a charter fishing service in a small inlet of Lake Superior known as Shelter Bay.
This property is part of a resort; there are 7 rentals total onsite. We also have a charter fishing service onsite and many boats on the property.

We only stayed one night as we were making our way home from the Porcupine Mountains. The home was clean and spacious. We enjoyed walking the beach that evening. Nicely between Marquette and Munising. We would consider going back for a longer stay!

Kimar's resort is a great place. The owner and staff offered everything you need and they are very helpful! They helped us move kayaks and canoes to the nearby lake, helped us with our problem with our car keys being locked inside of the car, work on the internet issue, and triple-check the performance of the internet, etc... We also enjoyed the services of Kimar's Charter, they brought us to the middle of the lake to do fishing, and we got many fishes, the largest one is more than 20 lb, keeping our record! They helped us clean the fish based on our needs. The captain is knowledgeable and nice! It was an unforgettable experience for all of us! I don't think you want to miss either resort or charter as long as they are available.
