We stayed in a spacious 1 bedroom villa with private pool for 2 weeks, breakfast included. Photos are as shown, and it’s a beautiful villa. It’s in a great area, not right in the heart of Seminyak but very close so you get the peace and quiet to relax. Pool is beautiful and a great size. Everything is always kept clean and tidy and you can tell the staff take pride in the property. Air conditioning works a treat for a cool change when you’ve been out and restful sleep. Beds were super comfortable. Turn down service includes spraying for mosquitoes which is great. Staff here, particularly Dewa have been amazing. Always checking to see if they can help make your stay more enjoyable. Breakfast and restaurant is great food with a wide selection at a very affordable price so we frequented room service. On top of that, massage place attached is great too, and they offer discounts when staying at the property.

Relaxing and the chicken parmi was amazing at the restaurant !

My Husband and i absolutely loved Ratan Villas because of how How kind and accomodating the staff were ! I loved how we could lounge in the pool and order food from the restaurant ! We loved how the tv actually worked so my hubby and i could lounge at night and watch movies with our netflix account. Must try the chicken parmi 100000/10 !

Stunning, but very noisy.

Absolutely stunning property, and amazing staff. Just a few things making it a long few nights.

While the property is gorgeous, it’s on a main road, very noisy throughout the night with traffic. Additionally over the weekend very very noisy with loud music and lots of people etc. also annoyingly after checking and confirming our checkout time for early morning, they proceeded to call the room at 10pm to ask us to settle the bill then. Waking us all up as we needed an early night for an early wake up.

Great spot, everything close, less touristy, quiet & comfy.

Great location. Far enough out of central Legian to make it less touristy, but nothing too far away. Room 109, Beautiful pool villa, nice & quiet back from the road. Dewa and his staff were super friendly & accommodating. Kenangan coffee shop next door, money changer, mini mart & bottle shop all right there. Great room service. Definitely recommend the breakfast croissant! We will be back.

Only had one warm shower in 4 night stay. Mind you, we didn’t ask them to fix it so it didn’t really bother us.

Not worth it — wouldn’t stay again

The staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and polite. The location was just far enough from town to enjoy peaceful, quiet nights.

The showers were awful, and the property is in desperate need of maintenance and renovation. We were given dirty cutlery, and strangely, only one teaspoon for the whole room despite having two cups and saucers?

Beautiful private villa

The villa was quiet despite multiple villas in the complex. Pool was refreshing. Room was large and beautifully set out! Bathroom was a great size. Staff friendly.

It was a little far from the main town nearby (Kuta). I did walk it on occasion, but seeing as I was only in the area a few days with multiple things I had to do, I got gojek around.

The hosts were extremely lovely and the facility was extremely great value for money.

The distance from the main part of town where the bars and bunch of street vendors was about a 20 minute walk from the villa which wasn't ideal.

We had such a wonderful stay! The villas are beautiful and come with everything you could need, with a spa and massage, kitchen, and pool bar conveniently located nearby. The location is perfect — close enough to everything, but still peaceful and not overwhelming. The staff were exceptional; everyone was so kind and welcoming. A special thanks to Dewa, who went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. The rooms were cleaned daily, with cold mineral water provided, and the beds were incredibly comfortable — such a treat to come back to after a day out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, relaxation, and amazing service! Will definitely be coming back to stay.

Great location, helpful staff, and a comfortable stay Stayed here for 2 nights and was pleasantly surprised by the location – I didn’t know exactly where it was when booking, but it turned out to be excellent! There are restaurants and a mini-mart within walking distance. The staff were always friendly and very helpful – I asked quite a few questions and they were happy to assist every time. Thank you so much! Overall, I had a very good stay and would recommend this place!

A small downside was that every time I flushed the toilet, there was a bubbling sound from the pipes, like water pushing back up – it didn’t cause any real issues, just a bit odd.

Average villa, some improvements needed, very dated

We booked a two bedroom villa for a week, we really enjoyed having our own private pool and the rooms were relatively clean. The staff were so lovely and friendly cannot fault them, they even organised a cake for me for my birthday. Very grateful for the staff throughout the week.

No amenities in the Villa, my tv blew up and bathroom flooded twice resulting in the room smelling like dirty water. We had to ask to have our rooms cleaned daily, sheets weren’t changed.

Cleanliness and the location! Very close to everywhere and just 10 minutes from Kuta! The staff was very helpful and friendly especially Abang Dewa as he helped me plan a birthday room decorations for my husband’s birthday.

Totally the experience is great with small worring paints

The property was great and location was good. But maintenance need to be improved as there are mosquitoes and bugs. Room cleaning service is great. But need to make improvements in maintenance as many spots I saw small small issues. Overall the stay was great.

Bug spray was done after 6 PM which is not good when the guest are in room. It should be done before the guest are back to room.

I lovely tranquil environment. Check in was super easy and they organised a car to collect us from the airport (as an extra but reasonable charge). There was plenty of space and the staff were super helpful and friendly.

Very very disappointing for myself and the family

The staff were amazing and very accommodating

First villa we stayed in loud music could not sleep. Was moved to another villa and had a problem with water leaking from pool could not use as to low. Constantly had a hose pipe then overflowed all over pool area. Last night after complaining again we were moved to a better villa which was much better but we had to fly out in the morning and was used only to sleep for one night. Payed for something for the week and spent more time moving villas.

Comfortable, affordable, great location and even better staff

Staff were friendly, beds were comfortable and pools were cleaned regularly. Great location and when I got sick the staff were so accomodating to ensure the nurse was able to be sent to our villa with urgency. Great experience all round.

The only thing I would critique is probably add some non slip mats to the bath. The baths are quite deep and 2/3 of us slipped trying to get in and out. Also some of the decking may need to be updated around the pool. Other than that it was a great experience

the plumbing in the hand basin and bathtub/shower didn't work. the water took forever to drain, especially in the tub and you were left standing in a puddle while showering. the staff were informed but nothing was done to correct it. the breakfast was tasteless and seemingly stale.

The villa and the facilities surrounding the villa were so nice and beautiful. The staff were so accommodating and friendly.

They changed our sheets with sheets that were stained with ink. Not a problem as we knew this was clean however we were questioned whether the ink was from us (it was not).

The location is great but the rooms are very small you can’t call it a villa, for the same amount you can get way better

The rooms are very small just a bed and toilet so you can’t call it a villa.There’s no breakfast area so you have to give them the breakfast order everyday at night and they will bring it to your room, they will keep knocking your door and scream until you open so you can’t just sleep. I suggest to have a breakfast lounge so customers can go whenever they want.

First time stay at The Sakaye

The service here is amazing and I cannot fault them one bit. My four year old daughter was well looked after here and they always had smiles for her when ever she was in the lobby. The staff here were helpful and always wanted to help if we needed information or had concerns. They even went as far as offering a room upgrade and free services such as massages and dinner at the hotel. We liked the private pool but also was a concern for our four year old. We also liked that the staff had given our daughter a play tent with some play balls which kept her entertained when we were at the villa.

We didn't like the kitchen being outside and not in a building that had air con, we didn't like the slippery tiles when you had finished a swim because it is right by the Kit hen area, also the path to the outdoor shower is a little narrow and our air con wasn't as good as the other room. We also didn't know that there were two completely separate rooms detached from each other, not helpful if you have little kids, esp around the pool.

The property was great, located near a lot of restaurants and warungs, daily spa onsite, private pools and amazing staff.

While I liked this place, people with mobility issues will find it hard. The shower is over a very high bath, and while the private pool is absolutely awesome there is no small steps or hand rails to get in and out.
