Absolutely amazing couldn't have asked for a better villa for our holiday

There was nothing we didn't like about the property besides the people who stayed next door, they were very loud all day and night and we could smell them smoking in there room from our room

Short stay in Legian.

The room layout is lovely. There is a small pool that is shared with a neighbour with a nice courtyard. The bed was comfy. Great staff and good service all round.

The pool water was slimy and it was uncomfortable to stay in the pool for me. There was a bolt on the gate but no way to lock the doors to the lounge, and the lock on the bedroom didn't work so it felt poorly secured. The villa itself was immaculate but the area they are in was really grotty. No air-conditioning in living areas in my villa but there was in my friends villa next door.

Perfect

Absolutely Beautiful Stay! Our stay at this villa was nothing short of amazing! The property is stunning — spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with a perfect mix of modern comfort and Balinese charm. The pool area was a dream — peaceful, private, and the ideal spot to unwind after exploring. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The location was also perfect — tucked away enough to feel quiet and relaxing. Everything about this villa made our trip unforgettable. I can’t recommend it enough — we’ll definitely be coming back!

Not what I expected for Seminyak

The villa was modern and looked lovely, the pool was great

The stove and rangehood did not work. And I'm really sorry but I hated the location, it is not really Seminyak it's more like kuta north of the river. It was not easy to get around without a scooter, we love to walk and explore our surroundings each morning, but no paths for pedestrians meant we almost got hit by cars many times. Also, walls are paper thin, we had rowdy bogans staying next to us and would be screaming and carrying on at all hours of the am - like 1 to 3am

Overpriced and disappointing!!

Private villa, the basics are there. With private pool. Had the below issues not effected our stay it would have been quite memorable. I can’t recommend this place, nor would I stay here again even if the price was half what we paid. The staff were lovely, and the breakfast in the morning was surprisingly okay. Full sized fridge available in room.

Poor value for money. No hot water on both nights. Bath drain doesn’t seal (unable to use bath) Mosquitos and bugs enter room through unsealed doors. Pool water is dirty and had visible dirt and floaters in it. No Doona or duvet provided on the bed. We had to ask for this. We were quite cold on the first night because of this. Oil stains on the sheets, and found a hair in our bed. Kettle in the kitchen leaked water when used. No ironing board available microwave not in villa either.

Nice friendly place to stay in Seminyak

Nice private pool, good AC, friendly staff, great breakfast.

The single toilet was in the bedroom. And the living room which offers a sleeping couch didn't have curtains.

Very noisy walls. You can basically hear every fart from the neighbors through the walls. And a lot of light switches didn't work. Couldn't turn off the pool lights.

Private getaway

Loved the villa, was perfect for a little get away, bed was amazingly comfortable, however it didnt have a doona. Only a flat sheet. pool was perfect for cooling off and the location was good.

Lots of mosquitoes although we were not ever bitten. The glass doors rattled a bit but we just put something in the runner and that stopped. The shower was nice but you have a rather large step up into a big bath tub.

3 star, basic amenities & facilities, other villas better value for money, I checked out a day early

Comfy bed, nice but small pool, sun in the morning, midday checkout

booking.com advised that there was 24 hour room service and minibar, I arrived at 10.30pm the only room service was a couple of drinks in fridge and pringles. Place is not as close to open minimarts etc as I thought and I would not have felt safe walking to the open ones in the area, breakfast very basic not as expected.

Get what you pay for.

The staff and layout was amazing.

The pool needed a treatment, was murky and wasn’t appealing to swim in. The kitchen and storage area for your suitcases and belongings was behind a partitioned glass doors but these could not be locked and could be accessed by anyone coming into the villa yard, lack of security.

Cute little villa I’d definitely stay in again!

Beautiful villa and loved the private pool. The lounge and kitchen area is all open with just glass sliding doors so doesn’t cool down that well with aircon. Kitchen is basic and has no microwave. No tv in lounge room but there is a comfy couch, dining room table and full size fridge. They don’t have filtered water like some villas offer, so bring your own. The villas are very close together so can be noisy as you can hear kids screaming in the pools etc. but at night it was nice and quiet! The bedroom was nice, with a really nice soft comfy bed. Good pillows and a tv to watch. Curtains give good blockout so you can sleep in. Aircon is icy cold in this room. Bathroom has shower over bath which can be hard to climb into due to the height and shape, but pressure was good and all shampoo etc provided. Toilet is in a separate little room. Overall I’d stay here again for sure! If you don’t like crawlers you might not like this place as the doors have big gaps. So there were a few mosquitos, a resident gecko and some caterpillars around the place. Just need to keep an eye out for them 😂

Had a lot of issues with the doors not closing properly so bugs and mice got into our food and luggage.

The location was good and the staff were lovely but we had a lot of issues during the stay. The sinks were broken and the one in the kitchen sprayed water everywhere. We had ants and bugs over everything as the doors did not shut properly. Food was taken from the kitchen by mice and we found it half eaten under the couch. The pool was very nice so that made it a bit better. Overall the stay was not the best and will not be returning.

the staff seemed friendly enough

it wasn’t clean The AC didn’t work well The fridge was broken the pool filter broke The safe didn’t work The shower over bath is a death trap The room is only serviced if you ask Staff went through the cupboard on the first day and items went missing The place is very run down You can hear every word the neighbours say (they weren’t happy either) The water leaves you feeling very oily There is no water filter so you have buy water

Villa was lovely and the staff kept it very clean. Beautiful private pool. Location was about a 15 minute walk to the main street in Legian.

The walls between the Villas are very thin. Next door arrived back at 5.15am one morning and blasted their music and were being extremely loud. Also a couple of cushioned day beds by the pool would have been better to lounge around. The deck chairs are quite hard and uncomfortable.

Don't expect full payment if there are things not working

Nice pool and bed

No TV channels to watch as no box I was told . If something is not working and you pay top dollar then full payment should not be expected and compensation given back to the customer . That is my opinion anyways.

the staff were incredible, they went well above to make sure our stay was amazing the cleanliness was great too, absolutely felt relaxed and enjoyed our time, the only thing i would suggest is to give the living area a lill more updating and is you are not fan of geckos and mosquitoes make sure u get some spray as soon as you arrive as the doors don’t really close.

Had a great experience during the stay and is worth every penny we paid for. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and promptly addresses any issues/requests.the villas are neat and huge as described in the pictures.

Spacious

•pool was shared with neighbours even though it was a “private villa” •there was only a flat sheet given to sleep with no other blanket or comforter. •husband slipped in the bath/shower and could have been a very bad outcome- there needs to be grips in the bottom of a rounded and stone tub. •the couch in the living room was dirty and full of stains •you could hear EVERYTHING from your neighbours •arrived and could only pay cash and we didn’t have any left so had to put in our Canadian SIM card and figure out online banking which ended up charging us more money.

Pleasant, but not close to much

Room was lovely Staff were friendly

The location is not in Seminyak, rather in Legian and quite a distance from anywhere (restaurants for food etc - too far to walk ) We had prior to arrival requested a late check out and to pay for this fee at the hotel. However, when departing for the airport and checking out I was told we could only pay cash- we had absolutely no cash left as we had spent it all that day in preparing for flying home. My only feedback would be if staff at check in could have told us then that it was cash only. The reception area is definitely equipped. We luckily scraped together the amount in Australian dollars - just! The staff didn’t know what else to do and this took us about half an hour to figure out - could have missed our flight.

Great value for money, private and close to town!

We are return customers to Anema Villa Seminyak. The location is fantastic, close enough to where you want to go but still a stone's throw away from the hustle and bustle or noisy motor ways. Great value for money and feels very private. The staff are ever so helpful and will do anything they can to make your experience great. Nothing better than enjoying a beer by your own private pool. Simply the best! We will be back again!

There were a few 'loose screws' so to speak. Specifically there was a leaking tap, a couple of blown lights bulbs, empty mini bar. Really not a big deal, but could use a quick service!
