SUMATRA ECORESORT

This review is the easiest 10 star review I have ever written. In the middle of nature (see picture) there are currently just 2 accommodations available. Due to the floods the area has been hit big time and they are still in rebuilding phase plus some of the photo's that you see are before the floods, but let this not influence your decision to come here. This does not disturb you at all, you can just sit down, relax and enjoy the surroundings. There are 2 lovely young ladies who will take care of you in the best possible way. The beds are super comfortable, the houses are really as in the pictures. Breakfast is great, the service even better. Even dinner can be recommended for a very good price! They do not sell beer, but you can ask where to get it!

More to mention, the shower pressure could be more, but it is warm water:). If you want to rent a scooter, please ask them in advance they know a great guy for a decent price (full tank) - their own scooter has seen better days, but it is cheap. As mentioned by others, if you need a taxi you have to have a bit of patience because they do not always want to get there to pick you up, but back to the property is no problem.

De locatie is prachtig ondanks de vernieling die de wateroverlast in dec 2025 heeft veroorzaakt. Mooie tuin en mooie authentieke verblijven.

Het ontbreekt aan een aantal luie stoelen om lekker in de tuin te kunnen zitten. Ook hier (waar niet in Sumatra) is het op sommige plekken wat rommelig.

Un endroit magique avec un propriétaire très sympathique.

The staff were lovely! The room felt luxurious and spacious. Breakfast was awesome.

The damage from the flooding was sad, I hope that this resort can recover quickly!
