Friendly staff, including one nice young man who speaks excellent English. Nice patio on 3rd floor, somewhat removed from the street noise. There are some nice restaurants down the road and Zam Zam groceries with a pretty good bread selection for a smallish store. The side streets are quiet and pleasant to walk along.

On a very noisy street, not pedestrian friendly, and a mosque nearby. Get a room in the back if you can or a guesthouse further from a main road. The coffee shop was closed most of the time. There’s some kitchen equipment on the 3rd floor but I'm not sure if its operation or available for guests. (I was never told about it anyway.) Patio on the second floor is noisy from the street. Rooms are dingy, bathrooms are smelly and in poor repair, never offered to clean or change sheets. Wifi is weak and often nonexistent. There’s one standing fan but you have to ask for it.
