We had a wonderful time and extended our stay with pleasure. The staff was very amazing and helpful.
The men’s bath and shower rooms were a little bit smelly, but all in all ok.

There is a near by mosque. And that means it get loud at prayer time and also in between.

Exceptional service by Bayu. Smiling, friendly, helpful young man speaking and understanding English and knowledgeable about BKT as wrll as the outskirts. Thanks to his help and advice, I got to explore what I came to see in this region, the Minangkabau villages. He also helped me book a bus to Padang. He was always ready to answer my questions. A very unique and rare experience for me travelling in Sumatra for one month. I very much appreciate it. The hostel was very clean, bed comfortable, toilets well maintained. For me, this was an exceptional experience.

Location good, upstairs balcony thing kinda nice. Friendly and helpful staff, cold and hot water available for drinking. As with tea and coffee. Close to bus station.
Wasn’t super clean, mainly bathrooms. But wasn’t too bad. Beds pretty uncomfortable and room tiny but again, not too bad.
