Easy to access the ski piste at the back of the property. Car required generally to access shops and restaurants as the apartment is up a hill on the edge of town. The bedrooms were all a decent size and the 2 bathrooms were good. Plenty of hot water for 6 adults to have a shower after a day’s skiing. The kitchen was small but was well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots,pans and cooking utensils . Easy parking outside as long as you have winter tyres to get up the hill. We really enjoyed our stay at apartment Julia. Thank you Christine.

Lovely setting with well appointed rooms and 2 lovely bathrooms. Full disclosure lacking as we were faced with additional charges for cleaning and taxes when we arrived that were totally not expected. Also the address was not easy to find even with GPS Host was there to meet us on arrival and explained details of property that was really helpful. All in all a really lovely place to stay

Thanks Charlie & Christine for a lovely vacation in your cosy apartment. We really enjoyed ourselves and the apartment was perfect for us. Enough beds for 8 people, located just on the slope with easy access to both Ellmau lifts and Hartkeiserbahn. Especially when travelling with kids, the ski-in and -out location makes life so much easier, as you can pop in and out for lunch or to "swap" babysitters during the day. Also the ski storage room, and possibility to borrow sleds for the kids was a nice add on. We can highly recommend this apartment to families who enjoy easy access to the slopes in a quiet neighborhood. The only drawback is the steep hill up from the village center (about 15mins walk), but that is just good exercise or you can opt for a Taxi, which costs 8€, well worth it if you have a lot to carry. We will definitely consider coming here again!

I booked to stay at the apartment for a ski holiday, having exclusively used travel companies before, I found apartment Julia to be a huge improvement upon accommodation I've previously stayed in. The apartment is extremely spacious( there were only 5 of us due to people dropping out) and was fantastic to relax in after a hard days skiing, the under floor heating was a enjoyable surprise . The apartment is on a fairly steep hill, a gentle 15 minute walk into town, a slightly harder/longer walk on the way up, though a taxi is relatively inexpensive solution if you're feeling lazy. The apartment has it's own ski/board storage area, which leads directly onto a Red run. The run from the apartment to town is pretty easy, getting from the top of the mountain to the apartment will be the trickier part for inexperienced skiers. The owners Christine and Charley were waiting in the apartment to great us and were extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and as described. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Right on the slopes. Ski in ski out. Very well furnished. Spotlessly clean. A short stroll into town where there's everything you need. The owners are really friendly and mercifully speak English. So no complaints. Just positives.

Wat een geweldige week hebben wij gehad in Haus Julia ! Voor 7 personen ( en 2 hondjes ) ruimte genoeg. 4 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers ruim en schoon! Een gezellige huiskamer met kachel, ronde zithoek en banken om te chillen! De skihelling naast het huis: even trapje op en daar stond je! Een mooi bospaadje aan de overkant van de helling om de honden te laten rennen! Leuk dorp met gezellige barretjes en restaurants; een goede bakker en veel winkels. Kortom: wij komen terug !! Een heerlijke vakantie!!

War alles wie beschrieben. Tolle Ausstattung, sauber, zwei schöne Badezimmer und es hat an nicht gefehlt. Hatten zwei wünderschöne Wochen in Ellmau. Die Wohnung liegt wunderschön am Hang mit einem tollen Blick auf den Wilden Kaiser. Waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal in Ellmau und in der Feienwohnung. Sehr nette Vermieter waren auch persönlich vor Ort und haben uns ein paar Tips gegeben.

We waren met 6 volwassenen en een kindje van 1,5 jaar. Het huis ligt op een prima locatie en is voorzien van alle benodigdheden die je nodig hebt voor een heerlijke vakantie. De eigenaar was gastvrij en staat klaar om vragen te beantwoorden. De kamer is gezellig en ruim ingericht. Het is fijn dat er 2 badkamers zijn en een is voorzien van een bad..(heerlijke na een dagje skiën) De bedden waren prima .. helaas rook één slaapkamer naar rook en aangezien wij geen rokers zijn was dit onaangenaam. Verder voldeed de accommodatie aan onze verwachtingen...een aanrader..

Das Objekt ist sehr groß, die Zimmer wunderbar separat zu bewohnen, d. h. man kann sich gut zurückziehen, sollte man zu sechst oder zu acht unterwegs sein. Für Wanderer: ein paar Höhenmeter sind mit Buchung der Unterkunft bereits zurückgelegt. Für ältere Menschen oder die nicht mehr so gut zu Fuß sind: der Anstieg vom Dorfzentrum zum Haus ist steil. Wir mussten die Oma mit dem Auto befördern. Herrliche Aussicht! Würden wiederkommen

Super schöne , wohnlich eingerichtete Wohnung. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Sehr netter, hilfsbereiter Besitzer. Betten bereits überzogen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, sauber und gemütlich, alles was man so im Urlaub braucht ist vorhanden. Die unmittelbare Lage an der Piste schafft große Flexibilität. Nach Ellmau kommt man gut zu Fuß. Loipeneinstieg, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Gondel sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Zudem sehr hilfsbereite und sympathische Vermieter - was will man mehr! Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Wat een ontvangst door de eigenaar! Hij had speciaal de oprit nog sneeuwvrij gemaakt voor aankomst! Ook binnen wachtten ons een aantal prettige verrassingen. Een doosje biscuits, een flesje wijn, een pot koffie met filters. De eigenaar beantwoordt met plezier je vragen zonder verder opdringerig te zijn. In de inkomhal ligt heel wat informatie netjes in rekjes gerangschikt. Het appartement zelf is heel ruim, heeft 4 ruime slaapkamers en 2 badkamers met elk een douche en toilet. Prima te verdelen dus onder 2 families met 2 kinderen. De woonruimte is aangenaam met een typisch Oostenrijkse eethoek, een sofa en een extra bank naast de kachel. De hele achterwand (waar de hete lucht van de kachel nog doorstroomt) bleken heerlijke plekjes voor de kindjes. Boven de kachel heeft de eigenaar 2 rails gemonteerd waar onze kletsnatte jassen meermaals te drogen hebben gehangen. Doorheen het huis is voldoende opbergruimte; in de badkamer, slaapkamers, woonruimte. Je kan rustig al je bagage een eigen plekje geven. Aan het huis is een opberghok voorzien voor onder andere ski's, waar je een soort föhn hebt waar je meteen 2 paar skibotten kan aanhangen. Tevens staan er een aantal sleeën waar je gebruik van kan maken. Keukengerei is ook meer dan voldoende aanwezig; borden in alle maten, kopjes, mokken, bestek, glazen, wijnglazen, borrelglazen... Een zeer ruime, propere koelkast. Echt top! En dan de ligging! Super! Via de Hausbergbahn of vanuit Going kan je perfect naar huis skiën. Onze kinderen volgden les in de skischool in Going en ook dat was s ochtends perfect skiënd te bereiken. Ook is het mogelijk tot aan de Hartkaiser te skiën, mits een stukje te voet. De weg ernaartoe wordt met veel plezier door de huisbaas uitgelegd. Enig puntje van kritiek : de keuken is niet erg ruim. Als de kok in de keuken staat blijf je er beter weg, hoewel we er af en toe toch met zijn vieren stonden. 😊� Deze woning staat vanaf nu in mijn favorieten!

Wir waren jetzt schon zum 5. Mal in dieser Wohnung. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, und es ist alles vorhanden was man im Urlaub braucht. Skiraum mit Schuhheizung und direkter Zugang zur Piste. Wir wurden wieder sehr herzlich von Charly empfangen. Es hat einfach alles gepasst und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben die Wohnung mit 8 Jungs bewohnt und alle hatten ausreichend Platz. Die tollen Schneeverhältnisse haben den Rest dazu getan. Man schnallt die Skier am Haus an und abends an selber Stelle wieder ab. Besser geht es nicht! Wir haben uns mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte mal gesehen!
