Disgusting shit hole

The property was absolutely crawling I had to take my 2 babies into that complete shit hole the minute I walked in I knew The tv diddnt work the internet diddnt work The best part is they took a £200 deposit now if you are silly enough to stay here you will laugh nothings worth £200 Anyways I could go on but trust mi we left after the first night and then waited 2 weeks for my deposit back Wallys

Location great for us, house very big and spacious, lovely big bath.

The converted loft being fully open to the level down it made the house extremely cold not ideal when you have two small children. The heating can only be put on for 1 hour at a time we all ended up Ill due to how cold the house got and didn’t sleep great as a result of the coldness in the house. A warning from the host ref the back garden being a dangerous zone would of been great that would of prevented my 3 year old getting hurt while wanting to play out back. A lot of work needs doing to the house on a whole to bring it upto an exceptional standard. All in all the house served a purpose now just waiting for my deposit back

Save your money & stay in a hostel or even in your car

Absolutely nothing. The reply from the owner is lies - we can provide proof that we left early and we even told him and he acknowledged it!!! The house was filthy!!! The photos speak for themselves!

I can’t believe this house is listed on booking.com! Shocking! The house is unsafe. Absolutely filthy. The stair carpet is coming away meaning the sharp tacs are showing. (And I caught my foot on one) One teaspoon for the whole property to use Towels drying on fabric chairs in the conservatory meaning it stunk and the room was unuseable. The beds were like laying on a prison floor. Tvs in the bedrooms but no Ariel, no remotes. Ariel on the tv downstairs kept falling off the window. The rug in the lounge was rock solid and I dare to think what is lurking in there. The curtain poles are hanging off the walls, curtains don’t close as too small, one full lengh mirror in the whole property. Stairs in one room which lead up to another room which was filthy, toe clippings and toys everywhere. No outside light. Wallpaper marked and ripped, bath panel falling apart The house isn’t fit for purpose. We didn’t even stay the full 3 nights it was so bad…. Host also requested an extra £45 as we mentioned our friend may stay ONE night (we had space for 5 people and with the friend it was 4) the absolute audacity for the host to take a £150 security deposit when there’s nothing in the house worth a tenner never mind £150.

Disappointing

It was close to family that we were visiting. It's convenient to have a house to come and go rather than hotel rooms when travelling with adult children

I had to call to get lock box code as the forgot we were arriving. House was freezing Lights didn't work the first night as not enough electric on meter - sorted 12 hours later but showering in the dark in a strange house is not fun! Host declined to sort that night as it was valentines day 4 TVs in property, but couldn't use any Security lock over handles on door to garden - fire safety hazard

It was a nice area and handy for the wedding venue

Location was very good, a nice quiet road. The conservatory was nice.

lack of essential items in the kitchen. Only one of 4 lights in the kitchen worked. Curtains hanging off the rails. Bathroom door did not shut or lock. Toilet seat was not fixed on properly. Very dirty walls in bedroom. No corkscrew. Only 1 wine glass. There is more....

Large house with garden backside. Clean and tidy. Quiet residential area. Short way to countryside and 25 min to Liverpool city. Very fiendly and helpful people. Good place to stay with children. Definitely come back.
