About this apartment rental
First a hint - because that is often ignored.
In this apartment is only room for 4 people.
Maybe 5, if 2 sleep together in the double bed. For the fifth person 20 € / night in addition.
You live in the countryside, in a quiet street.
Nevertheless, so central that you can reach all sights of the city of Berlin in a short time. Two different bus stops are each 120 m and 250 m away.
The S-Bahn station Altglienicke is only 1.2 km away (or 3 bus stops). If you want to go by car to the city - the city highway is only 2 km away.
But better you go by S-Bahn. This will take you to the center of the city after 25 minutes, at Alexanderplatz. Directly at the television tower.
It is worth going up there once. At the top of the restaurant or on the observation deck you have a magnificent view over the whole city.
From Alex, you can reach many destinations that you may have chosen before starting your journey on foot.
No matter if you want to go for a walk or visit the Staatsoper, the Brandenburger Tor, the Gendarmenmarkt, the Nikolaiviertel, the Museumsinsel with the Pergamonmuseum, the Friedrichstadtpalast, the Reichstag building or the Potsdamer Platz, everything is within walking distance of Alexanderplatz to reach out.
The Ku'damm is a few S-Bahn stations further. There you should also stroll along once. The Friedrichstrasse is also a worthwhile destination if you want to make purchases.
If you want to visit 'Captain von Köpenick' on another day - his monument is not far away. And if you are there, it is worth to visit the Barock-Schloss-Köpenick. By bus and tram you are there after about 20 minutes. By car it is about 10 minutes.
In the summer you can then continue straight to swim in the Müggelsee. But even in autumn or winter, a beautiful path around the lake for hiking or cycling invites. I cycle there very often. In the middle of the forest. Along the water. Bicycle rental is just 2 km away.
If you want to walk in the woods, sir does not have to go far. It's almost at the door. Only 2 km walk or 4 stops by bus, then you are in Grünau. If you go through the forest, you will reach the regatta course. The oldest sports venue in Berlin, where international competitions still take place today. Nearby is the beach Grünau. Yes, and if you have to leave at some point, then you are very quickly back on the highway or at Schönefeld Airport, which you can reach by bus (3 stops) and S-Bahn (2 stops) in 20 minutes.

Great place with plenty of room for our group of 3. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Several bus stops nearby and an S-bahn stop about a 15 minute walk away.

Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean, comfortable and very convenient to public transportation. I had a very calm and relaxing time. Having laundry facilities was a huge benefit for a long stay!

Huge thanks to Ingolf and Eleonora for their hospitality. They rent out a part of their house that feels like a separate home, complete with a large, beautiful garden and a BBQ area. Inside, there are two spacious rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a comfortable bathroom. The kitchen has everything you could need, plus little extras you often forget—foil, parchment paper, salt, oil, tea, etc. We were even treated to coffee that could be made in the coffee machine.The outdoor BBQ and relaxation area is very pleasant, and you can even sit there in rainy weather. This section feels somewhat separate, giving you the impression you're renting an entirely independent house. The location is quite convenient, especially if you're arriving by car. We didn't have one and used public transport: there's a bus stop nearby, and the train station is about a 20-minute walk away.If you want to explore Berlin during the day and then relax in a lovely garden in the evening, this is the perfect option. Wij zijn vriendelijk ontvangen door de heer en mevrouw Kind.
De vakantiewoning was van alle gemakken voorzien. Een grote tuin waar je gebruik van mag maken. S-Bahn Altglienicke is een kwartier wandelen, dus je bent vrij snel in Berlijn. Genoeg recreatie in de buurt, mooie meren en bossen. Auto kan men makkelijk parkeren in de straat, er is altijd wel plek. De moeite waard om weer eens terug te keren en een adres om te onthouden.
