Comfortable, kind, considerate!

The breakfast was way better than a breakfast at a comparably priced hotel, with bagels, toast, hard-boiled eggs, GOOD yogurt, granola, organic preserves and fruit... omg. Beds were super comfy. As a woman travelling alone, I understand nervousness about staying with a lone man, so I think it's incumbent on me to say that Louie made me feel super secure and safe.

Nothing, we chose not to stay

The owner was creepy, it wasn't disclosed that all 3 units share the owner's bathroom with his personal effects in it! Made us question if there might be some peeping? We were very afraid to leave our pet here while we did things. Also had to schedule hot tub time and pay an extra $35 to use it! Also not disclosed among other things. Super bad/ scary vibes of the entire place & owner so bad we left and paid for a hotel room.

Super neat and tidy.

This is rooms in the hosts house. There are charges for many amenities: coffee, hot tub, laundry. The charges ARE written about but so buried in the immense amount of material they are easy to miss. The owner is very much around and is more than happy to talk to you and tell you stories. That said, the house is very clean, very safe and comfortable.

A nice place to overnight while biking the Ohio to Erie Trail

Stayed here with Marine friends while we were biking the Ohio to Erie Trail. The place was clean and comfortable, offering a good spot to rest after a long ride. It was located a few miles off the trail, but Google Maps helped us find it. Louie greeted us upon arrival and provided a cold Gatorade for each of us. He secured our bikes for the night, and then oriented on his house and the three bedrooms we used. The house interior was quite interesting and Louie shared many stories about the house. He also provided recommendations for local food within easy walking distance.

The continental breakfast was OK, but unlike most cooked breakfasts many B&Bs offer. We were surprised to find that coffee wasn’t included—something we typically expect at a B&B. The listing indicated coffee makers in the room, but we didn’t find any.

Not a true bed &breakfast

Location was easy to find

This listing is not accurate. There are extra charges for coffee/tea and the hot tub. Breakfast is granola bars. We left after feeling uncomfortable with the owner and finding out all the extra charges. We booked the room specifically for the hot tub just to find out he wanted $35/hour. When we said the listing did not disclose this, he argued with us. You have to share a bathroom with him. So there is all his toiletries in the shower. I would not reccomendend this place to anyone. It's a guy renting out bedrooms, not a true bed &breakfast he claims to be. The hospitality is just not there.

A Do-not-miss Destination.

Louie was a great host, took time to explain the many details of the accommodations and he included helpful info regarding highlights of the area. He made the excellent rating for this BNB an obvious reality. I consider this to be a historic location in Akron, filled with memorabilia, and art work, including Noah's ark, every detail given personal attention. I really look forward to returning again.

Great place! Wonderful host! Another home away from home! I had a great time!

As soon as I booked this accommodation, he messaged me and confirmed the booking. The breakfast was excellent. Apart from the free and excellent breakfast, there is an extensive variety of beverages tea, coffee hot chocolate and plenty of soft drinks available 24 hrs/7 at a very nominal cost. There were also T shirts, caps etc available for trekking also at a reasonable price. Mr. Loui was very cordial and friendly. He was there whenever you wanted something. He was available on phone if he was not present at the apartment. There were unlimited chocolates and mints in the room. The apartment was very tidy and maintained very well. The kitchen was very user friendly and it was well equipped. The wash room was very clean and maintained well. The place was 30 min walk to the Akron Children’s hospital, Akron general and many other hospitals and also close to many adventure trails. So, it is a great place to stay if you are travelling either for work in one of these hospitals or if you are on a adventure trip. He was kind enough to accommodate my baggage as I had a break of 2 days in between by 2 weeks of stay. He often checked with me if everything was ok and if I needed anything.
