About this house rental
Bad Kleinen is located directly on Lake Schwerin. This is ideal for water sports and swimming. The place has a very good train and bus connections to the state capital Schwerin (20km) or the city of Wismar (16km). Both towns invite you to a tour.
The town has an Aldi, Netto and EDEKA and a pharmacy.
Just 400m from the train station you will find our bungalow.
The lake is just a few minutes walk from the house. On manicured, DLRG guarded beach fun for the whole family is guaranteed. Playground and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. The Baltic Sea beaches can be reached by car in 30 minutes.
The bungalow consists of a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and a large area, in the nature of a winter garden.
The bedroom has 1 double bed (extra bed possible), the living room has a fold-out double couch and a wall / Murphy bed.
The cottage is on our property, but is not connected to the main house. A private parking and a lawn to play and enjoy the sun are also available.

The prices per night are differentiated according to holiday makers and fitters:

Perfect for me and my wife for a little get away. Close to the lake and Schwerin and incredibly easy to get to by the train. The guest house had everything we could ask for.

Wir sind altersbedingt Bahn-Touristen geworden, und dies war mitausschlaggebend für die Wahl dieses Feriendomizils. Die Nächte waren mucksmäuschenstill trotz der Nähe des Bahnhofs, da sich dieser im abfallenden Gelände zum See hin befindet. Bis Anfang 2017 stand hier noch ein Bahnhof mit historischem Wert. Erst durch den Einfluss der Eisenbahn ist dieser Ort am nördlichn Ufer des Schweriner Sees entstanden, wo zuvor nur einzelne Gehöfte standen. Der Abriss und Umbau verschlangen rund 10-Millionen €. Hätte bei dieser Summe die Fußgängerüberführung nicht vollständig über die Gleisanlage gebaut werden können? Da wurde eine Chance verpasst, für Einwohner und Gäste einen kurzen Weg zum Seeufer mit seinem urigen Pfad zu schaffen. So bleibt nur der etwas entfernte Eiertunnel für Fußgänger, oder der lange Umweg über die Straßenbrücke weiter östlich.
Die bei fewo-direkt angegebenen Ausstattungsmerkmale waren korrekt. Lediglich einen DVD-Player konnten wir nicht entdecken. Dafür befindet sich im Schlafzimmer noch ein zweiter Fernseher, um bei Regentagen etwas länger in der Koje zu bleiben. Etwas problematisch ist in der kälteren Jahreszeit, dass der Wintergarten, wo sich auch der Esstisch befindet, nicht beheizbar ist.
