Tastefully appointed rooms

Beautiful rooms & kitchen and in our case balcony.

Rented 2 rooms for a family stay. Attendant not friendly and seem not to enjoy her job: Any questions seem to be a bother. An interesting one was when I asked about the wifi credentials, was told I needed to contact Thomas via calling and not texting. After I showed that I clearly wasn’t amused by her lack of professionalism, she realized it and started being more helpful and sent me a text with the credentials. Maybe she had a bad day. Wifi was fine above the cafe but was inexistent in the second building where the 2nd room was located. Nevertheless, rooms were great and tastefully appointed. Buzzer kept ringing in the middle of the night to let people-in in room above lobby but was fine in other room.

Nice accommodation but very bad check in experience

The property is very new and very nicely renovated

We had such a bad experience when we tried checking in. Although I received a message in the morning asking me to call 20 minutes before arriving, no one answered for hours. Around 16:30 I called the number for the first time, 10-20 times without answer. For 3 hours no one answered. Only around 20:00, when we were already worried that we would sleep outside, did the guy called us back and we were able to check in. How can you not check your phone for hours when you know guests are coming on that day?! Also, please note that you won't receive shower gel or shampoo. So make sure you bring some.

I have never stayed in a nicer hostel, I was pleasantly surprised!

Very well done and chic renovations at an old villa. I liked the facilities and the space, especially for the price. The Wi-Fi is fast, and there are many electrical outlets. It is in a convenient location for walking and for taking the tram to the city. The mattress and linens were very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here!

There were a lot of dust piles under the bed and around the corners of the room. Also, there are no curtains to block the very bright 5am morning sun from the windows in the summer months, so I always had to wake up very early.

Exceptional

It extended our expantations. The standard was very high, it was beautifully decorated, clean and the location was excellent. The free parking was the main reason for our choice. But we will stay nowhere but here next time we're in Rostock. This was perfect for our mini get-away!

The hostel is really nicely decorated and well equipped. The room was cozy and charming, with a comfortable bed. It's very close to a tram stop and Rostock old town.

Sometimes it could be quite noisy if other guests are in the apartment.

All in all a good place, for not too many days.

Location was fine. The apartment was nicely furnished. Owner was friendly, had a cute dog and we got some Tipps for restaurants.

Unfortunately it was very loud. You could hear the other travelers in the middle of the night in the kitchen. We had to tell them, if they could be a little bit more quite. So it was more the fault of the construction from the flat. And it was a bit to expensive.

Bikes were stored securely. Apparently was clean with everything we needed. Cafe nearby was excellent for breakfast and a short walk to the promenade at the sea in the evening was great.

Quiet lovely rooms near the city centre... in

Quiet and very well cared for. Thomas is an excellent host very friendly and attentive. My fellow guests were really good company. On a practical level you can lock your bike in the cellar which was great, and there is a kettle a toaster and a fridge!

For me it wasn't a problem but the room was at the top of the building so prepare for stairs!

As design lovers ourselves, we love the host's interior choice: A good mix of IKEA & OYOY furniture for an overall cozy, comfort feeling.

9/10 is overrated for the space because it equals with a super comfortable stay. However, in our room, there's no dark curtains, so it's super bright from early morning on already. There was no soap in the shower and the hand soap wasn't refilled. Only one super thin towel was provided. There was a water cooker, but no instant coffee or tea was provided. Those little things don't cost much, but it creates a difference between a 7/10, 8/10 places to a 9/10 ones. The host told us that he would send us the Wi-Fi password via mobile, but he never did, and we didn't bother, since we only stayed for one night. We thought it was a miss because the host did have good thought about his space, but there is still room for improvement. We believe 7/10 a more fair for our experience.

It was a quaint little place. Nicely furnished

No way to get in unless you have Wifi and can receive emails on your trip and have the ability to phone. Really hard to find - a sign up front (street side) would help.

Very nice host! Splendid localisation, near to the city center :) Big plus for parking for guests behind the building. Reasonable price and such a good looking vintage interior!

Very friendly host, easy communication before our late arrival. Room was clean, nicely designed with a roof window. Fully equipped kitchen. Free parking; WiFi worked good. Great location.

Really nice and comfortable room. Friendly host. Great lokation. Very charming.

The shared facilities are a bit small when people from all rooms were up an about, especially in the morning when all had to use bathroom/toilet and kitchen. Everyone was sweet and considerate so it was not a big issue and I guess it is what can be expected in a setup like that :)
