About this apartment rental
Cascina Borchina offers four romantic and elegant accommodations, for only a few guests: an entire house (finca) on two floors, an apartment with one bedroom (sole), two one-room apartments (Violetta and Falco).
The two-room apartment "SOLE" is on the ground floor and offers two large sun terraces, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the Lago. There are also garden furniture (table and chairs) that are only intended for you.
Elegance and style coexist within the spacious apartment, while nature is reflected in its materials.
These natural materials have been carefully selected with great attention to detail. Among other things you will find marble, travertine, granite, slate, natural stone, recycled wood, old bricks. The result is a mixture of contemporary glamor, anchored in elements of fascinating tradition. The large windows in both rooms give you the opportunity to have a wonderful view over the lake and to be embraced by the sun's rays. You have sun from early to late.
The apartment has a large fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with stone shower, a dining area and a cozy living area with sofa that invites you to read or enjoy the view. The bedroom has a TV, various closets and a cozy double bed made of solid wood with a latex mattress. Even from the bed, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake and the mountains.
The garden consists of a large plot (approx. 5000m) with a lawn and a park, where there are deckchairs with a pad. The garden is surrounded by lemon trees, rosemary, oak, sage grass, lavender, thyme and mint.
You can walk or hike in the forest from Cascina Borchina, because we have hiking trails right on the doorstep. A real paradise for hikers and bikers!

Wir hatten im Aug. 2020 einen traumhaft schönen, leider nur einwöchigen Urlaub in der Fewo SOLE. Wir können uns den anderen Bewertungen nur anschließen. An der fantastischen Aussicht kann man sich gar nicht sattsehen, es ist in der Tat noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos. Zudem herrscht eine herrliche Ruhe und eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre - Bettina und Andrea haben einen wunderbaren Ort geschaffen. Wir konnten uns Fotos von der Bauphase anschauen und waren extrem beeindruckt, was die Beiden dort geschaffen haben. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist überaus geschmackvoll und hochwertig (von den Möbeln und der Einrichtung insgesamt bis hin zum Geschirr), man merkt einfach, dass viel Liebe und Leidenschaft drin steckt und fühlt sich gar nicht wie in einer Ferienwohnung.
Bettina ist total herzlich, alles lief völlig unkompliziert und als würde man sich schon länger kennen. Für Yogis ist der Platz unter den Bäumen mit Blick auf den See ein Traum. Wie auch schon von anderen beschrieben, ist die Anfahrt v.a. beim ersten Mal eine kleine Herausforderung, aber mit einem normalen Auto absolut machbar und man gewöhnt sich dran, man wird auf jeden Fall belohnt.
Wir würden auch mehr als 5 Sterne geben, wenn das möglich wäre, und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Nach einer etwas abenteuerlichen Anfahrt wird man mit einem wundervollen Ausblick auf den See belohnt. Die Ferienwohnung ist komfortabel ausgestattet, alles war sauber und so wie beschrieben. Bettina, die Besitzerin, ist nett und hilfsbereit. Direkt vom Grundstück aus sind Wanderungen in die Berge möglich. Bis zum See sind es rund 10 Minuten mit dem Auto.

Unsere Urlaubsfahrt in den Frühling sollte uns an einen Ort am Lago Maggiore führen, der sehr ruhig gelegen ist, der uns einen schönen Ausblick auf den Lago bietet und es sollte außerdem eine komfortabel eingerichtete Ferienwohnung sein.
Die Finca Cascina Borchina erfüllte diese Bedingungen perfekt. Oberhalb von Maccagno gelegen erwarteten uns sehr liebenswerte Gastgeber in der von ihnen angelegten wunderbaren kleinen Urlaubsidylle mit grandiosen Blick auf den Lago.
Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und unseren nächsten Aufenthalt an diesem zauberhaften Ort bereits geplant.
