Cascina Borchina offers four romantic and elegant accommodations, for only a few guests: an entire house (finca) on two floors, an apartment with one bedroom (sole), two one-room apartments (Violetta and Falco).
The one-room apartment "VIOLETTA" is located in the Cascina Borchina, on the upper floor. The studio is the ideal living solution for couples, friends or single travelers who want to have a wonderful view over the Lago and the mountains and who are looking for a warm, sunny and elegant atmosphere. It is an intimate nest, furnished with stylish comfort and natural materials.
The natural materials have been carefully selected with great attention to detail. Among other things you will find marble, travertine, granite, slate, natural stone, recycled wood, old bricks. The result is a mixture of contemporary glamor, anchored in elements of fascinating tradition. The large windows give you the opportunity to have a wonderful view over the lake and to be embraced by the sun's rays. You have sun from early to late.
The room is equipped with a wardrobe, a kitchen, a bathroom with a stone shower, a living and dining area with a double bed and a wooden table with chairs that invites you to read or enjoy the view. They have a roof terrace with a marble table and chairs with cushions. Cascina Borchina has a lawned garden and a park. For this you have two deckchairs with cushions. Although we are in the middle of a forest, Cascina Borchina is surrounded by ancient rocks and stone walls, which has been used in history to grow fruit plants and wine. Today we have lemon trees, rosemary, sage, lavender, thyme, mint, cactus, wild cherry, chestnut, oak and hazelnut.

It is remarkable that there are no other houses near Cascina Borchina, you can not hear and see cars (only those of the guests).
Our forest path is not suitable for sports cars (Porsche 911 etc.).

Our stay was even better than expected! The great rating is absolutely fair. Bettina was very welcoming and helped us with reservations and other things. The view was gorgeous and it was over all very quite. The flat was beautiful and kitchen and bathroom were nice and high quality.
Everything was perfect! Thank you for the nice stay and we will be back!
The way to the property is a little bit off-road, so make sure not to arrive in a lowered sportscar :D

Wir haben die Tage bei Bettina und Andrea sehr genossen. Ein Ort der Ruhe - perfekt zum entspannen. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und sehr liebevoll ausgestattet.
Uns hat die sonnige Lage sehr gefallen, so konnten wir bereits beim Frühstück die Morgensonne auf unserem Balkon genießen und am Abend mit einem Gläschen Wein im Garten noch in der Abendsonne sitzen. Einfach Traumhaft.

Wir haben spontan bei Bettina gebucht. Das Anwesen ist groß und schön (ich glaube 5-6 Apartments mit gemeinsamer großer Wiese). Liegestühle usw. Ist alles vorhanden. Dazu ein kleiner Bücherschrank. Der Ausblick auf den Lago bezaubernd und man hat bis spät abends Sonne bei sehr viel Ruhe. Bettina war immer zur Stelle bei Fragen. Außerdem hat sie viele Tips und auch Vergünstigungen zu Restaurants, Outdoor Aktivitäten gegeben.
Was man als AirBnB'ler womöglich nicht mehr gewohnt ist: Handtücher und Internet waren gegen Aufpreis. Wir hatten aber selbst welche dabei und nutzten unsere mobilen Hotspots, wenn benötigt.
Noch zur Anreise: Das Anwesen liegt zwischen Maccagno und Campagnano. Es geht einen steilen geschotterten Weg nach unten. Die zwei Dörfer sind fußläufig in 20-40 Minuten zu erreichen. Besser vorher schon einen Grundstock an Verpflegung einkaufen und das Auto möglichst stehen lassen. Das Anwesen lädt eh zum Relaxen und Entspannen ein und nicht zum Autofahren ;). Wir können einen Aufenthalt auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
