About this house rental
The Seepferdchen vacation home is located near St. Maartenszee on the Dutch North Sea coast in the small vacation park Gudea. The detached house, featuring a sun terrace and lawn on a 444-square-meter lot bordering a forest, is built of clinker bricks and is very well maintained. It is family-friendly and furnished to accommodate 5 adults and 1 toddler. A well-equipped, modern kitchen is available.
Gudea Park: The Gudea vacation park consists of only 27 vacation homes, making it peaceful and quiet; in the spring, it is surrounded by fields of blooming flowers. Children can play freely on a grassy field and in a small wooded area, away from traffic.
Recreational activities: You can swim in the sea, sunbathe on the fine-sand beach, or go for walks along the beach, through the beach dunes, and in the "Zwanenwater" nature reserve. In case of bad weather, small swimming pools in town or the public pool in Schagen offer opportunities for play and sports. We especially recommend the signposted bike tours on the dikes and along the canals. Just 10 km away, the dune forest between Hargen, Schoorl, and Bergen offers particularly beautiful opportunities for hiking and biking. For tennis, we recommend not only the facility in St. Maartensbrug but also the one in Petten, 3 km away. Excursions to the medieval seaports of Enkhuizen and Hoorn on the IJsselmeer, to the cheese market in Alkmaar, to the Maritime Museum in Den Helder, and—on Thursdays—to the folklore parade in Schagen offer plenty of variety.
Shopping: You’ll find good shopping in Schagen and in neighboring Callantsoog.

Wir haben eine schöne Woche über Karneval in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Das Haus stellt sich als sehr gepflegt und absolut sauber dar.
Die Ausstattung ist vom modernen Bad, einer kompletten Küche (Spülmaschine,Backofen und Mikrowelle) und einem gemütich eingerichteten Wohnzimmer nach unseren Vorstellungen perfekt gelungen. Auch gute gepflegte Fahrräder sind vorhanden, welche allerdings aufgund der Witterung von uns nicht genutzt wurden.
Diese, oder ein Auto benötigt man hier aber auch zur Fortbewegung. Das ist aber durch die Lagebeschreibung ja auch ersichtlich. Freizeitaktivitäten sind in relativ kurzen Entfernungen sehr gut möglich und die kleinen gemütlichen Städte Hollands (z.B. Bergen, Alkmaar, Schagen, Hoorn, Enkhuizen oder Medemblik) sind schnell erreicht und laden zum Bummeln und Verweilen ein. Auch ein Besuch von Amsterdam (z.B. mit der Bahn ab Schagen) ist von hier stressfrei möglich. Für Wanderungen und Radtouren bietet sich das große Naturschutzgebiet an, welches sich von Camperduin bis Wijk aan Zee erstreckt.
Die Administration über den Eigentümer war vollkommen korrekt und problemlos.
Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne mal wieder.
