A very nice apartment.

We have travelled many places for many years and this is genuinely one of the nicest self-catering units we have used. It is tastefully and thoughtfully equipped with just about everything a couple with one or perhaps two kids could need. For just the two of us it was spacious and comfortable, light and airy. The beds were comfortable, the separate bathroom and toilet were fine and the kitchen had everything we could have needed. Communications from the owner and instructions for heating and water were clear and understandable. A nice touch was complimentary chocolates and shortbread on arrival, and even a seasonal Christmas tree. A minor downside is that the apartment block is behind the hotel, so while there is a good sized balcony, there is no view to speak of, but it is close enough to the harbour and promenade for this not to matter. Ballycastle is a pleasant Northern Irish town, and the apartment is in easy walking distance form the town centre, pubs and shops, and a short drive from various scenic spots including Giant's Causeway. Parking is sufficient and secure. If we were to spend a longer time exploring the Antrim coast we would definitely check if Kyla Marine were available before booking anywhere else.

The apartment was sparkly clean, central to the beach and Rathlin ferry, the accommodation was superb,beautifully decorated and everything you would need even down to a pair of scissors.. Thank you Michael and Maureen.

Convenient, Clean and Close to the Harbor where we took a boat to Rathlin Island.

We cooked our own breakfast and the stores were close by. I loved the fact that the toilet and sink were separate from the tub/shower & sink.

It was very difficult finding the place. Once there, we had to borrow a phone from a guest to call the owner so we could figure out how & where to find the key. The owner was very helpful.

Perfect place to stay with family

Keys were in the box and I was provided with a code. It's right next to the marina and beach, no more than 5 mins walk but in a very private area at the same time. would recommend for families and would book for our family again.

The apartment was very clean and furnished very well. the beds were very comfortable getting a great nights sleep and had a balcony so you could sit outside. it was a small walk from the beach and close to the Ferry to Rathlin Island. and a 10 minute walk to great restaurants.

A great place to relax in Ballycastle without challenging hills - home from home

Great apartment, well kitted out and a great selection of channels and netflix to relax in the evening. Owners made us feel more than welcome and kept in contact to make sure we were happy with the apartment.

The surrounding area could do with a bit of paint as its a little run down, but nothing to do with the apartment.

It was a chilled time in a flat with a well stocked kitchen ,comfy settees and lovely Ballycastle

So straight forward to access the very clean apartment. Perfect for beach, and short walk up to O'Connors and Anzac. Private parking and good sized easy access bins. Local shop close for the little things you forget! A lovely welcome pack of wine, biscuits & cakes- such a perfect touch.

Half term staycation

Clean, tasteful, and extremely well equipped apartment and very homely. Owner was proactive in keeping us informed prior to our arrival and checking in on us during our stay. Housekeeper also very helpful in satisfying my queries about a couple of minor issues.

I’m not very techno savvy so would have liked operating instructions for oven and washer/dryer but everything else worked a treat

Beautiful apt all our home comforts equipped with everything we needed we were very happy. Michael owner very helpful & always stayed in contact with us both had amazing stay recommend short breakaway Great location town just around corner. Outside balcony table & chairs lovely in summer too cold in october when we went here.

Not owner's fault fridge freezer very noisy. Heating was very slow to come on as well it didn't ruin our stay we would go back again.
