We chose this as it had a great location, right by the beach and ferry. It included free gated parking and had a huge king size bed, which we both liked. The heating was spot on as was the shower. Liked having the throws as well. Please was clean, modern and well equiped.
Would have prefered a dishwasher to a washing machine but hubby washed up lol.

Great location just off the beach. Very well equipped apartment, parking very near. We enjoyed our stay with our adult children. Lots to see and explore in the local area.
Could not get a bath of hot water but steaming hot shower made up for it. Just enjoy a bath with a back issue.

We have travelled many places for many years and this is genuinely one of the nicest self-catering units we have used. It is tastefully and thoughtfully equipped with just about everything a couple with one or perhaps two kids could need. For just the two of us it was spacious and comfortable, light and airy. The beds were comfortable, the separate bathroom and toilet were fine and the kitchen had everything we could have needed. Communications from the owner and instructions for heating and water were clear and understandable. A nice touch was complimentary chocolates and shortbread on arrival, and even a seasonal Christmas tree. A minor downside is that the apartment block is behind the hotel, so while there is a good sized balcony, there is no view to speak of, but it is close enough to the harbour and promenade for this not to matter. Ballycastle is a pleasant Northern Irish town, and the apartment is in easy walking distance form the town centre, pubs and shops, and a short drive from various scenic spots including Giant's Causeway. Parking is sufficient and secure. If we were to spend a longer time exploring the Antrim coast we would definitely check if Kyla Marine were available before booking anywhere else.
