You will appreciate the comfort and the very refined decoration. You will enjoy the terrace on the south facade from where you will see the beach. On the other side of the house, a second terrace awaits you.

IA lovely traditional house, 2 minutes from the sea (which you can just about see from the front deck), and 5 minutes from a couple of restaurants and a couple of shops. I loved the chilled laid-back feel of Le Vieil.

The house is very well placed for the beach (though not overlooking it), walks, the shop and Gustav's bar and restaurant (recommended). We were surprised to find the downstairs bedroom was not self-contained, so the other couple had to walk through to access the very steep stairs, the bathroom and the lavatory. The standard of equipment was high - sophisticated hob/oven, dishwasher and washing machine, but no dinner knives! Noirmoutier is glorious.
