Breathtaking Oceanfront Condo

Apartment is clean, well kept and in a great location.

My fiancé and I needed a long term rental as we waited for her visa to enter the USA. This property fit our needs perfectly as she was able to stay close to me while enjoying a great part of the world.. The location was ideal. It is close to the airport (25 min), for my trips back and forth to the USA. The location is ideally situated in the Hotel Zona. Close enough to walk (5-10 min) to the center, but just far enough away from the nighttime noise and craziness. It was easy to access convenience stores, taxis, and restaurants. We spent hours walking up and down the blvd and the beach. The property itself is secure—almost too secure. The men at the front gate are obsessed with security. We had trouble several times with service help getting onto the property. They could use a better system for allowing qualified people onto the property. But the security certainly made me feel good about leaving my fiancé in a foreign country. The property was undergoing renovations on the entrance most of our trip, which didn’t hinder us, but was a bit disappointing aesthetically. It’s is a residential community—all long-term rentals. So there’s definitely a feeling of seclusion and safety to the place. It is nothing like a hotel with hundreds of people coming and going everyday. It felt like a home, which is exactly what we wanted. It’s well-maintained and has an excellent pool and beach area. It’s remarkable how easy it is and how close it is to enjoy the beach in Cancun when you stay at this property. It has a great fitness center. Unfortunately, during our stay the crystal waters of Cancun were suffering from a tide of seaweed that really detracted from the experience. I understand from the taxi drivers that there is a seasonality to this. You may want to check before you travel on the state of the seaweed tide. The apartment was on the 19th fl and the views leave you breathless. There are balconies on both sides, which give world-class views of both the city and the ocean. The utility bills are extra and add significantly to the cost-about $30/day. The apartment itself is nice, but not the Ritz-Carlton. The bedding and towels and some furniture/appliances could use some updating. Phaedra, the owner, & her manager were responsive and flexible. I wasn’t always the best guest, but she was very accommodating. If you need a long-term rental in Cancun, this is your place.

My wife and I were lucky to find this beautiful condo. A really quiet place with a great beach and an amazing view! There are many nice restaurants and shopping malls nearby. We will definitely come back next year :)
