Our overall experience with this home was good and would recommend the house. There were a few cleanliness issues and even left one exposed for the house cleaner to take care of (crumbs under the rug between living room and dinning room when we straightened it out and dust on top of the tv cabinet, plastic foliage). Main bathroom toilet ran periodically. Front porch light flickered and I replaced the bulb, but still flickered. Stove light flickered. Hot tub as seen better days, but worked fine and was clean. I couldn't get the thermostat to stay in one mode. The master bathroom is dated, but decent. A couple of the window shades are broken. There are not very many tall glasses in the kitchen. The frying pans have seen better days. There were plenty of great things about this home and why I would recommend it.

We had a lovely time at this property. The location is spectacular and the layout of the home was great. I loved the open kitchen and was happily surprised there was a keurig in addition to the coffee pot. I was very impressed that the beds were so comfortable. This house is nearly perfect, but is in desperate need of a deep clean and some minor maintenance. There were light bulbs out, the pantry door fell off when we arrived, and the carpet threshold into the living room is held together with duct tape. I didn't really mind this because of the location and layout, but with a little more care this place could be amazing.

The house was very clean, easy entry/exit and overall size, layout was fine. However there were several things we did not find optimal. The blinds were difficult to operate and a couple of them did not work, even after following detailed instructions (they shouldn't be so complicates as to need instructions). Kitchen amenities were adequate for our quick stay but seemed sparse if we intended to cook decent meals. The biggest drawback was the king size bed. The mattress was so extremely firm that we couldn't sleep on it. We were forced to use one of the smaller rooms with a smaller bed. Slept well in that one but very disappointing we had to give up the beautiful large master bedroom. Not idea or expected for a nice vacation getaway.
