The house was amazing. The host Andy and Michele were phenomenal, probably with the most detailed pre-arrival instructions, and arrangements that I’ve ever had and staying with many VRBO’s. This house. It’s good to have a vehicle because most of the restaurants are driving distance. The beach is only five minutes away. The snorkeling in front of the house is great. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family of ten spent 12 incredible nights at Villa Azure, the villa is absolutely breathtaking. As others have said, the pictures simply do not do the property justice. Of the many places we have stayed around the world, this was by far the most beautiful, luxurious vacation we have had. Initially I was concerned the property and the island would be a mess after hurricane Irma, the record setting storm that devastated the region. Andy assured me that the villa was built well and did not have any major damage and that Anguilla would recover quickly. We spoke several times to receive updates prior to our stay. The villa was perfect, and the island showed little signs of damage. Impressive how fast they recovered.
Andy worked with us prior to our arrival to make sure we knew all the best things to do on Anguilla and answered our many questions. Michelle booked us cars that were waiting for us at the villa, deep sea fishing and scuba for our friends, all the excursions were well done.
Villa Azure was a wonderful place to relax. Views, views, views! If you want those pictures you see in magazines, this is the place. The property had everything we needed with all sorts of kitchen gadgets, a large outdoor grill, a great sound system with Sonos and music services, and incredible linens. Did I say incredible linens? Wow, I want to sleep on that bed again and wake up to those morning views! The layout of the property was great, we all had privacy and there were several outdoor decks and terraces to enjoy and view the sunset. The pool and hot tub are great with the most incredible view. We snorkeled from the villa and saw lots of fish and several turtles. Shoal Bay Beach is probably the best beach you will find on the planet if you are a beach person, perfect white sand, several fun restaurants and beach bars, we enjoyed it every day and took several sunset walks.
Villa Azure is a 5-star property and the island of Anguilla is a 5-star island. We will be back!

Our family spent a week at Azure and it was more than we expected. The pictures on the website don’t do this view justice. When looking for a vacation villa, you can’t help but wonder if it’s photos have been enhanced to make the villa more appealing, but in the case of Azure, I can honestly say I was stunned when I first saw it in person. It is an incredibly beautiful place. The color of the water is really something to see every morning.
The villa was a perfect vacation for our family. It’s large, well designed, and fun! It’s beautifully decorated and the floor plan flows very well. Its layout would also provide privacy and accommodate multiple families if you were vacationing together. The pool and hot tub were perfect when we weren’t out snorkeling right behind the villa. The water there is ideal for fish and coral. The bedrooms were all large and comfortable. Their bathrooms are all large as well. The outdoor showers were very refreshing after a day in the sun. The beach is just about a 2 minute drive away if you want to sit in the sand or enjoy a fresh seafood lunch. I’d recommend Minoah’s restaurant for lobster or Gwyn’s for ribs. Don’t bring beach towels- Azure has plenty!
As beautiful as Azure is, I’d still recommend you rent a car and explore the island. We tried to see a different place everyday and it added to our overall experience. If you want to really see the island, I recommend you take a chartered boat tour around the island to see it from the water. That way you can stake out what beach you may want to visit during your trip. We used Gotcha boat tours and were very pleased with their boats and our captain. There are way to many beaches and not enough time to visit them all. We spent a day at Savannah Bay, which a very short drive from Azure and had the entire 2 ½ mile beach to ourselves. You also can go to Dog Island, Prickly Pear, and Scrub Island if you want to have the entire island to yourself. I’m sure it’s more crowded at other times of the year, but we visited in July and it wasn’t at all.
The owner was very helpful in preparing us for the trip with things to do and see while we were there. Susan, who served as our concierge while we were on island, met us upon arrival at the airport in Anguilla. It was great that she had taken our list of provisions and pre-stocked our pantry and refrigerator for enough time until we felt comfortable finding our way around in our rental car.
They've thought of everything so that you can enjoy!

We have visited Anguilla 3 times now and twice have stayed at Villa Azure. When you drive through the gates and step through the big wooden doors into the living room, the views take your breath away. The Caribbean at your fingertips, it is then you know you have arrived in pure luxury as Villa Azure has these views from every room, 24/7. The place itself is over-the-top, but when you add the views high up on the bluff, you begin to pinch yourself that it is all real. While the place exudes opulence, it is very functional and easy to live in and be comfortable. Villa Azure is even better than it looks and sounds on the website, the rooms are very large, the bathrooms as well, the patios and decks everywhere, the sheer size of the overall property is really great, and the appointments are all pure luxury. It took us until day 4 of our first trip to even locate the upstairs tanning area under the pergola!
We took full advantage of the concierge service and ordered a full refrigerator, pantry and wine bar. It could not have been nicer to walk in after a long day of travel and be able to sit down and relax without running around. Anguilla itself is great, and while they do not drive on the correct side of there road, navigating is fairly easy. Shoal Bay beach is close and has some nice beachside restaurants, but driving to the other end of the island offers some great lunch and dinner choices as well. All in all, relaxing, fun, exciting to be there. We cannot wait to go back!!!
