Holidays in nature, arriving and feeling good is the top priority for Agriturismo Pomantello. This beautiful property is located in the border triangle, Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany, near Lake Bolsena.
Picturesque on a hill, it offers a unique panoramic view of the fields, the adjacent Monte Rufeno nature park and the medieval village of Torre Alfina, which can be reached on foot. Here is also the fairytale forest "Il Sasseto" with its ancient, impressive trees.
The total of 6 apartments have been created over the years; each apartment is lovingly designed down to the last detail, individually and comfortably, all in a rustic style with terracotta flooring, beamed ceilings, antique furniture and pictures by local artists. On the hill there is the main house with a large apartment and 2 outbuildings with various smaller apartments.
Three donkeys, chickens, rabbits, a cat and dogs underline the idyllic atmosphere of this country estate. There are plenty of play options for children at the house: swings, slides, seesaws, sandpit, ping-pong and a giant trampoline. The large garden is lovingly designed and conveys a unique atmosphere. There are many opportunities to linger on the extensive grounds and enjoy the sunsets and the beautiful view with a good glass of wine.
We, an Italian-German family, have been organically farming here for over 30 years and rent out our holiday apartments.
In a friendly, family atmosphere, we try to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
We are interested in many things, in art, archeology, pottery, hunting, fishing, diving, surfing, motorcycles and vintage cars and can give many tips in these areas. In our taverna we can prepare typical dishes with local products for groups, our pizza evenings with homemade dough in a wood-fired oven are particularly popular.
The mild climate and the beautiful landscape offer the ideal environment to rest and relax.
