The holiday house AMALIA lies directly above the nice sandy dune beach of Pyrgi, on the western coast of Peloponnese, approx. 15km northwest of the city Pyrgos and 12km north of the picturesque port Katakolo. Directly at the beach, where once stood the simple fisherman´s cottages of the people of Aghios Ilias, today you find many holiday houses, but also a few modest fisherman´s houses still in good condition.
The holiday house AMALIA is in a slight hillside location, in a row with other summer houses directly at the seashore and the dune beach. The holiday house is simply and practically furnished, providing a modest living comfort, a beautiful view across the Ionian Sea, fantastic beach and bathing conditions and magnificent sunsets. The wonderful sandy beach is close to the house (40mtr), gently sloping into the sea and therefore especially suitable for families with children.
The rustic holiday house AMALIA has a small, well-maintained garden with lawn and a beautiful roofed terrace. Entry to the house is on ground level via the terrace, two steps up from the garden. Adjoining to the living room is the open kitchenette separated by a counter. From the living room you can directly access the roofed terrace and the garden. The living room is leading to the bedrooms with the shared bathroom.
Sunbeds and parasols are available at the fine sandy beach right in front of your holiday house. About 150 mtr away there is a kite school that offers watersports.

Wir sind positiv überrascht worden, das Meer direkt vor der Tür und der Strand war auch ziemlich lang, somit konnte man auch ungestört schwimmen gehen. Der Bademeister war auch vor Ort und die Koureta Schildkröten haben den Strand auch besucht. Ein bisschen Urlaub wie die Einheimischen machen ist uns sehr wichtig. Der Bäcker kam auch jeden Morgen außer Sonntag, ansonsten kann man auch ein bisschen außerhalb Einkäufe erledigen.

Schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage mit Blick aufs Meer. Es ist alles sehr sauber und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Sehr nette Gastgeber und nette Nachbarschaft. Strand ist keine 50m entfernt und das glasklare Wasser lädt auch noch im Oktober zum Baden ein. Olympia und verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in ca. 45 Minuten erreichbar.

Wir wurden sehr nett von den gastgebern empfangen. Es wurde uns alles was wir brauchten gut erklärt.
Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir wurden auch mit frischen Eiern versorgt ;o)
Obwohl es meistens über 30Grad war und wir hitzeempfindlich sind, haben wir keine Klimaanlage vermisst. das Meeres hat stets eine frische Brise zur wunderschlnen großen Terasse wehen lassen.
Am Strand wird bewirtet. Nicht weit vom haus gibt es auch gute Tavernen bei denen man gemütlich lecker essen kann.
Erholsame ruhige Nächte sind hier selbstverstöndlich.
