Hostel Casa Xtakay

This a perfect place to stay in the center of Valladolid. I had a double room at the first floor, which was big and a very good shower. Jonathan and his parrents (who live next door) are perfect hosts. They arranged the tour to Chitzen Itza for me (and the other guests in the other room). There is nice kitchen, which you can use. In the morning there is a good breakfast with tortillas with filling and fresh fruit, made by Jonathan's mom. On the day of my checkout I got surprised with a smal gift. Thanks! And, if you need a dentist, this also the place to be. The hostal has a dental practice.

Our hosts were fantastic. They gave us so many helpful recommendations for things to see in Valladolid and the surrounding region.

The location is perfect and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is made by the owner’s mother and is different every morning. It was very delicious.

There were no curtains for the bed. The door to the hallway doesn’t stop sounds getting into the room. So it was noisy in the evening

Everything! Super friendly family run, great breakfast, great advice on visiting things around Valladolid. Comfortable, well kept room. Nice patio for hanging out doors. We didn’t use the kitchen but it looked very nice and well stocked.
