About this house rental
Los Cisnes was totally refurbished in July 2018 has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.The studio sleeps 2 and also has a bathroom. It is possible for an infant to be included, and a cot is available at the house on request at no charge.

Located in a residencial area of El Medano in the south of Tenerife (maximum of 20 minutes by taxi from Tenerife South airport), Los Cisnes is a semi-detached house just 3 minutes walk to the nearest sandy beach at Ensenada de la Pelada, and 1.5km to the village of El Medano with its selection of bars, restaurants and beach side promenade. The nearest supermarket is just 500m from the house. The house has views of Teide and the studio also has sea view.

Los Cisnes house comprises the following :
Bedrooms : 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom each with large windows. There is ample wardrobe space within the built-in wardrobes. There is a maximum of 4 people can sleep in the house with the possibility of a cot being provided on request for an infant (guests’ own cot linen).
Bathroom 1 : Bath, shower over bath, toilet, wash basin and bidet
Bathroom 2 : Shower, toilet, wash basin
Lounge / Dining Area : Contains a 2 seater and 3 seater sofa, dining table/chairs for up to 6 people, flat screen smart TV, radio. Patio doors (with exterior wooden shutters) lead out to the private terrace and garden. WIFI (fibre optic) is provide Free of Charge.
Kitchen : The separate kitchen has electric oven, gas 4-ring hob, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave, blender, cutlery and plates for 6 people, sandwich toaster, coffee maker. There is a breakfast bar (4 stools) between the kitchen and dining area.
Exterior : The house has both a front and rear garden and terrace area accessible from the lounge/dining area. Here you will find a built-in BBQ and garden furniture. There are also 2 sunbeds on the terrace. The garden is lawned with mature shrubs.
There is a washing machine.

Los Cisnes studio is on the top floor of the house, and comprises the following :
Bedroom and Lounge/Dining Area : A double bed sleeping up to 2 adults with the room featuring flat screen smart TV, radio. There is a kitchenette with 2-ring electric hob, kettle, sandwich maker, coffee maker, fridge, cutlery and plates for 2 people, toaster. There is a washing machine. Wifi (fibre optic) is provided. The studio has a large window offering views to Mount Teide and to the sea. A table for 2 is located inside the studio in front of the large window, although this can be taken outside to the terrace for outside dining.
The bathroom has toilet, wash basin and shower. There is an additional exterior shower on the studio’s terrace.
The studio can only be occupied when booked with the house, and is accessed via an external staircase. If the studio is not required, it will be locked.
Additional Information
There is a strict no-smoking policy for the house and studio, and pets are not permitted. The house is accessed at ground level, and the studio is via an external staircase.
The house is clean upon your arrival and then cleaned upon departure. If you wish to include additional cleaning / change of linen and towels, this can be provided at a supplement.
There is an alarm system installed (operated by a fob system).
A refundable deposit may be required upon arrival with check-in at 14:00 and check-out at 10:00 on day of departure. A minimum stay of 5 nights is required. There is ample parking facilities on the road outside the house.
Car hire is recommend, but not essential .

Wonderful
Tenerife is a marvelous island.
It's a very tourist island but El Médano is a quiet place but it is also very near to the movida. You can always hear and see the sea and you can
swim in the ocean in just 10 minutes walking far from bathing facilities.

We chose this property as it had everything we needed - two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, shower, private garden, close to a beach, walking distance to cafe and shop. We weren’t disappointed.
Ideally car would be the best option, as the bus service is a tad infrequent and doesn’t run at the weekends at all.

Wir waren 3 Wochen vor Ort und haben unseren Aufenthalt alles in allem genossen. Das Haus ist für 2 Personen mehr als ausreichend groß und bietet mit einer voll ausgestatteten Küche, den WZ-Sofas, großem Esstisch, der Terasse und dem gemauerten Grill genug Komfort, um es sich gemütlich zu machen.
Ein paar Dinge könnten aber noch verbessert werden. Das Dopoelbett war mit ca. 1,40m für 2 Personen auf Dauer zu schmal zum Schlafen. Einer von uns ist dann ins zweite Schlafzimmer ausgewichen. Ein Zusammenstellen der beiden Einzelbetten klappte nicht, weil die Matratzen ungleich hoch sind. Das war etwas schade.
Der Garten ist schön. wird jedoch gerne mal von den herumstreunenden Katzen besucht, deren Hinterlassenschaften sich dann dort wiederfinden. Die Bäder waren schön groß und hatten genug Ablagefläche, die Dichtungen an den Armaturen müssten aber mal ausgewechselt werden.
Das schöne Wetter konnten wir auf den Liegestühlen ungestört genießen, allerdings weit an der Küste stets ein ordentlicher Wind, der auch viel Vulkanstaub mit sich bringt. Nach kurzer Zeit sind die Möbel im Freien mit einer dünnen Staubschicht versehen.
Die Lage ist prima, zum Strand sind es ca. 700m und dort ist auch ein kleiner Supermarkt am Hotel. Ansonsten fährt man mit dem eigenen Wagen zum Hyperlink in den Ort und macht dort den großen Einkauf. Einen Parkplatz findet man immer in den angrenzenden Straßen vor dem Haus.
