About this house rental

Welcome to Casa Can Nadal, a great village house on the edge of Sineu. This elevated location offers you breathtaking panoramic views. This lovingly renovated and excellently equipped village house with its typical Mallorcan stone front extends over the ground floor and first floor. Upon entering the house you are greeted by a spacious entrance hall from which you can enter the garage and access the lower terrace. 

On the ground floor of the house there is a cozy double room (without air conditioning) and a bathroom. A staircase with 17 steps takes you to the upper part of the house.Here you will find the fully equipped kitchen, the living room with a comfortable sofa area, flat-screen TV and WiFi, as well as another double room with its own bathroom, all rooms are equipped with air conditioning. The bedroom, living room and kitchen have direct access to the spacious 50m2 terrace from which you can enjoy breathtaking views to the Puig de Randa.

The house is fully equipped with all kinds of towels. Upon request, we are happy to provide a cot and a high chair free of charge to ensure that our little guests have a pleasant stay.

Sineu is a picturesque village in the center of Mallorca and has a lot to offer.The town is famous for its weekly market, which takes place every Wednesday and is considered one of the oldest markets on the island. Here you can discover local products, handicrafts and culinary delights. Sineu is also known for its historic old town with charming cobbled streets and traditional Mallorcan buildings.

The location of Casa Can Nadal allows you to easily explore the village of Sineu and its surroundings. Nearby you will find scenic hiking trails that lead to breathtaking viewpoints and hidden coves. The central location on the island also makes it easy to explore other parts of Mallorca, be it the coast with its beaches or the historical sights and cities.

The holiday accommodation booked is intended exclusively for holiday use. It is absolutely forbidden to hold loud parties or other activities that may violate the law or disturb neighbors. Failure to comply with this rule may result in penalties for guests ranging from €5,000.00 to €300,000.00 (for professionally organized events) is enough.

In addition, the Ecotasa fee is charged to all travelers aged 16 and over. It is €2.00 per night per person for the first 8 nights, and €1.00 thereafter. (plus 10% VAT)

This house would get 5 stars with only a few additional improvements. 1. For some reason the house is advertised as having a pool. It does not. This didn’t effect us but if you were expecting a pool then it would be very disappointing. 2. First floor shower - a normal overhead shower would be much better as the hydro therapy shower is not very effective. 3. Some new cushions for the outdoor furniture However everything else is a very good standard, lots of space, comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen with all the appliances you need. We cooked several times and ate out on the terrace with wonderful views. The owner was very helpful and it was no problem to come over one night when we locked ourselves out, which is something to be careful about, once the door shuts behind you there’s no way back in without the key. We were also allowed a late check out which was very kind. You have to pay extra for electricity used but that wasn’t much at all. All in all, a great house in a perfect location, easy access to the surrounding areas and beaches by car, and a 40 min train into Parma from the nearby station.

Wir waren nur zu zweit in der Wohnung und hatten daher sehr viel Platz. Die Wohnung würde aber auch für 4 oder sogar 6 Personen genug Platz bieten. Bei der Ausstattung haben wir nichts vermisst. Wir waren zum ersten mal auf Mallorca und haben daher Sineu wegen der zentralen Lage als Aufenthaltsort gewählt. Die Wohnung liegt zwar am Stadtrand, sodass man vom Balkon einen ganz schönen Ausblick auf Felder genießt, anfahren muss man aber von der Dorfseite her durch sehr enge Gassen. Wir hatten einen SUV gemietet, was für Sineu eine absolut schlechte Entscheidung war. Das hatten wir vorher nicht recherchiert. Die Wohnung hat eine eigene Garage, die auch vom unteren Flur aus direkt zugänglich war. Das war sehr praktisch. Auch hier benötigt man aber einiges Geschick, um einen großen Mietwagen einzupacken, wenn auf der schmalen Straße viele Autos parken. Zu Fuß hat uns aber das alte Stadtbild in Sineu sehr gut gefallen. Es gibt auch fußläufig ausreichend gute Optionen, um abends essen zu gehen. Der Ort selbst ist sehr ruhig, zur Nebensaison sogar etwas verschlafen. Das hat uns aber gut gefallen. Die stark befahrene Straße hinter dem Haus hat uns nicht gestört. Es sind ja auch noch ein paar Felder dazwischen. Frau Seidl und Ihre Kollegin von der Vermittlung sprechen beide fließend deutsch und sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei telefonischen Rückfragen hat man uns sofort geholfen. Auch hat man uns es ermöglicht, spät abends noch einzuchecken, da wir erst spät gelandet sind. Die Übergabe wurde vom freundlichen Vermieter durchgeführt, welcher allerdings nur spanisch spricht. Die Damen von der Vermittlung standen aber auch zu später Stunde noch telefonisch für Übersetzungen bereit. Wir empfanden den Umgang mit Vermieter und Vermittlung als sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. Huset var fint, men da vejret var køligt var der også koldt i huset, underste etage var uden opvarmnings muligheder. Den fine massage dusch kunne vi ikke få til at fungere og bidet i det andet badeværelse virkede heller ikke. Låsen i terrassedøren kunne ikke låses. Dejligt med egen garage.
