About this house rental

The converted cottage is located between Killorglin and Glenbeigh, right on the Kerry trail. Both cities with good shopping and nice to stroll. Due to the quiet location with proximity to the beach, mountains, lake, golf courses, equestrian center, you have the opportunity to spend your holiday active or relaxed. The proximity to the Kerry Airport (about 30km) is at u. Departure of advantage. The cottage is furnished with love and offers a warm and cozy atmosphere. The living area is with z. T. antique, very nice furniture. The kitchen has a dining area; upstairs is the very spacious bedroom with double bed, large picture window and cozy cozy corner, where you can sometimes even bridge a rainy day reading. The bathroom with shower u. Bathtub provides relaxation after an active day.


Fishing: Fishing is free on and off Caragh Lake. On the rivers you need a license.
From the beach you can fish for sea bass on the flounders and at the end of the beach.
From the dumps in Kells Bay or Valentia Island you can fish for mackerel, pollack, conger aaal etc.
From Valentia, Portmagee, Renard Point, Kells Bay you can go deep sea fishing. (book in advance).

Hiking: You can buy hiking maps at the tourist office in Killorglin or in the shops of petrol stations. Directly from the house you have several options for shorter or longer hikes with stunning views of the Atlantic, the Caragh Lake, the Mc Gillycuddy Reeks with the Carrountoohil, the highest mountain in Ireland. A magnificent sunset can be enjoyed on a beautiful beach walk on the 6-kilometer-long sandy beach of the Rossbeigh. The lake can show itself from cheerful to tired. Walks in the seclusion of the surrounding area let you forget the stressful everyday life and find your inner retreat.

Riding / Biking: What could be better than a ride on the beach or in the surrounding mountains?
On the road towards Rossbeigh is on the right side of the Burkes Horse Riding & Activity Center,
