The Azul Casita was home away from home. This little piece of heaven has everything you are looking for. Our family enjoyed the crisp clear waters of Cypress Creek and the beautiful home. We fished, swung from rope swings, explored nature and watched fireflies light up the night. Connie was an excellent host and speaking with her was an absolute joy. Thank you Connie for allowing us to experience this heavenly place. We are going to make this our yearly spot from now on.

This is my family’s third time to stay at the casita. We’re absolutely love the proximity to the river and the beautiful cypress and open land across the river. The kids loved exploring the river, mini waterfalls, and observing nature (birds, fish, tadpoles…). The adults loved floating in the cool water. Bonus, though we were there in mid to late June, we still got to see fireflies every night! This is a very special place.

We love staying on cypress creek it is quiet and calm and safe. Just what our family needs. One problem we experienced was finding the entry code when we arrived. On previous visits I think it was in a welcome note a few days before arrival. I coulnot find it or our host’s phone numbers. I went through my mail and finally found the code but it wasn’t with my recent communications. The cabin and grounds are lovely and we had a great visit after we got inside

This place is in such a quiet, beautiful location, but is very convenient to all of the great shops and restaurants in Wimberley. The back deck was the best place for morning coffee and birdwatching. I hope to stay again very soon!

Our stay was wonderful! Very close to water and well furnished. Close to town yet still a very quiet spot. Only issue we encountered at all was that it is a very steep hill down to the water. Borrowed stone steps off to the side and then we could make it! Other than that it was perfect! Would definitely stay again.

This was such a nice place to stay. It was relaxing to sit on the back porch & watch people have fun in the water. It is very close to the water & we loved that. We had everything we needed & the beds were so comfortable. Very lovely atmosphere. The bedrooms were bright & cheerful. What we really loved were our walks down the road, seeing deer & flowers. The weather was cool in the mornings of July! Evenings were nice as well. Check in was a breeze & Connie goes out of her way to help you with any issues that might arise. She is a kind & caring person. We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you Connie for going above & beyond the norm.

This was a perfect place for our girls weekend! The cottage was stocked with everything we needed - could use a new drop coffee maker LOL! But literally that was the only thing. The river out back was a feeling of pure tranquility but yet you were only minutes from the great shopping and restaurants of Wimberly. We'll definitely be back!

Cypress Creek was clear and beautiful. Very shaded and relaxing floating in the creek. Back yard was shaded also made it perfect for barbecue and no sunburn. House was very comfortable and beds cozy. Loved our stay.

This was our second visit within six months to this home and we love it! The house is well appointed for families to stay in, stocked with all the necessities. I always appreciate the added coffee! My husband and I stayed at Azul Casita and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect and close to town. Its a beautiful setting and a very special place. Being able to dip in the creek and lounge on the deck or chairs by the water was a great way to spend the hot afternoons. The house was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with basic items that made cooking easy. The owner was very responsive. Overall we were very pleased and would stay there again.

We are lucky enough to have family that lives in Wimberley, just down the creek from the Blue & Yellow Casitas. We have stayed in the smaller yellow cottage before, and this time in Casita Azul. We love the conveniences of home the house provides. Comfortable beds and lounging spaces. TV with all the streaming options makes it feel like home. We stayed this time to visit with family and view the eclipse from down the street. Although it was a little cloudy, we were able to see the great show! Connie has always been extremely fast to reply when I've had any questions.

The house, patio and creek were all great. Very quiet and relaxing. Our pups loved the grassy area down to the creek and the enclosed patio made it easy to let them in and out. The house has every thing you need. Wimberley is a mile down the road. All the food was great and every place we went was dog friendly and the people were all friendly. Cypress Creek trail was easy and beautiful. The trails at the Blue Hole were nice but not marked well and we couldn't take the pups down to the Blue Hole. Be sure to climb the stairs at Old Baldy to get a view of the hill country.

This property was in a great location especially so close to the river. It was spacious and pet friendly. There were lots of kitchen amenities to include regular coffee pot and kuireg. We could control thermostat and there were blankets and fans for each room. I loved the front door... it's a dutch door!! My recommendations for the space are to have 2 different more comfortable chairs facing the television and also have working ventilation in the kitchen. When we cooked bacon, it set off the smoke alarm. Small details in the big scheme of tthings. We will definitely book here and stay again. (This is a plug for Connie's property...my sister stayed within walking distance at another house and her experience was not as good as ours).
