About this apartment rental
Entire first floor apartment 1000 square ft. (Owners live on 2nd floor with Roman a Newfoundland dog). Very private space and both owners and renters have their own entry. Fun spot full of amenities: washer/dryer/kitchen/dining area, 1 queen bed in separate private bedroom. Bunk beds with twin on the top and full sized bottom mattress. Large Flat screen TV in main living area and 2nd TV in Bedroom. Private pool, large grassy yard, under house recreation area with gas grill/ping pong table/corn horn/picnic table/outdoor shower/hammock/beach chairs/umbrella. Semi-Private beautiful Southern Shores beach is 2 1/2 blocks away. Distance to the beach is an easy walk or free parking pass is provided. There is 1 additional unit on opposite side of property rented to a local couple. Usage of amenities are for owners and seasonal guests. Additionally, our dog is never outside alone. He is always with the Owner.

The property was very clean and very well maintained. It had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The pool was perfect when not wanting to go to the beach but still have the option to swim, cool down, and be outside. The owners were very friendly and it's obvious that they care and maintain their property.

Great place to stay for a family of 4. The hosts are awesome, and the place is great. Close to everything and the pool is an added bonus.

We loved our stay in Southern Shores. The house is very well stocked and in great condition. The landscaping is beautiful and so are all the decorative touches. We were a bit nervous staying on sight with the owners but Chris and JB are wonderful hosts.
The house is a quick walk to the beach (or bike ride). It is also very quick to drive or bike into Duck. Lovely location. Hope to be back again.
