About this house rental
The restored farmhouse is inhabited by you alone and is very quietly located in an old shepherd's village (5 km from the sea, approx. 10 minutes by car) in the middle of lavender and rosemary fields above the town of Hvar (by the sea), with its beautiful old town and invites you to stroll through its numerous restaurants.
The house is located in a romantic garden with a stone bench, which is surrounded by old overgrown brickwork. The old almond trees provide shade in midsummer.
The house offers enough space for up to 4 adults on 3 levels.
Large kitchen (15 sqm), 2 bedrooms, living room with satellite TV Astra (30 sqm), shower, toilet, wonderful terrace with a fantastic sea view. Courtyard with nice seats, garden with old almond trees, parking space for cars.
The island of Hvar is one of the 10 most beautiful islands in the world according to 'Traveler' and, according to the Adac test, has the best water quality in the Mediterranean
Walk the ancient donkey trails in the maquis. Fantastic hiking routes across the island in the vineyards and lavender fields. (from the edge of the village). Small quiet bays can be reached by car in 10 minutes.
Dine romantic, Dalmatian in one of the countless taverns in the old town of Hvar. (approx. 10 minutes by car)

Sehr schönes Haus mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich direkt wie zu Hause. Es findet sich zu jeder Tageszeit ein schönes Plätzchen mit viel Abwechslung, sowohl drinnen wie besonders draußen. Highlight zudem die warme Außendusche. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub.

Ein wundervoll, mit Liebe hergerichtetes Haus im leicht abgelegenen Bergdorf. In toller Umgebung kann man die Ruhe genießen. In der Nähe sind Badebuchten zu erreichen und in kurzer Zeit ist man am Supermarkt und mitten im Geschehen von Hvar.
Die Vermieterin, hat alles mit Liebe und sorgfältig vorbereitet. Man findet überall im Haus hilfreiche Informationen und wertvolle Tips für tolle Plätze auf der Insel.
Ganz sicher waren wir nicht das letzte mal hier.

Das bezaubernde Steinhaus hat uns als Familie im August 2020 trotz Corona Pandemie einen traumhaften Urlaub auf Hvar beschwert. Der wunderschöne Garten mit all seinen Sitzmöglichkeiten, dem eigenen gemauerten Grill, die herrliche Dachterrasse, die geschmackvolle Einrichtung, das Bergdorf, die Tipps der Vermieterin für nahe und wenig besuchte Strände - all das machte es uns sehr leicht Restaurants, Cafes und überfüllte Strände zu meiden und einfach unser Inselleben auf Hvar zu genießen.

The house was absolutely perfect for our family holiday. It was close enough to the beaches and Hvar town to be able to access them easily by car but remote enough to have a wonderfully peaceful holiday. The village was tranquil and authentic. The house is relatively simple but equipped with everything we needed, it felt like a home away from home. The property has several lovely outdoor spaces, a shaded courtyard which is perfect for long, lazy lunches and a roof terrace to watch the beautiful sunset from. I would definitely recommend this house and hope to return.
