I had messaged Filippo when we were on our way to meet him for the key, and he was there within a few minutes of us. The location was right at the edge of the old town (one street in) which was convenient for meeting a taxi for pick-up when needed as we did not rent a car. We could walk through the streets of the old town to view the shops and find restaurants for lunch/dinner. There was a convenient laundromat within a 10-minute walk just outside of the old town. Other shops/restaurants were within easy (10 to 20 minutes) walking distance outside of the old town as well. We did not cook at the apartment but did eat purchased breakfast food there. There were plenty of dishes for the three of us to eat. The air conditioning worked well, which was nice as the temperatures were in the 90's while we were there!
We did not have a problem, but for those with mobility issues, the apartment was up about 8 stairs in a narrow hallway. There is no elevator. There is a restaurant at the corner of the building with outdoor seating that did provide some noise until closing even with the windows closed, so if you are a light sleeper and/or go to bed early just be aware!
