Great location, clean and facilities good apart from AC.

Air conditioning was dripping in bedroom and had to move bed or would get wet. Air conditioning in main apartment area stopped working on Day 2. Rest of facilities all good

The location is simply perfect. Right in the Old Town, but close enough to the new city for all the amenities and not far from the train station either. Getting into the apartment was very easy, with no issues at all regarding keys, locks ets. The apartment has everything you need, although some things have seen better days and aren't exactly brand new. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, and there are cute little balconies. It’s quite clean and comfortable, with a decent bathroom that has good water pressure. Plenty of storage space. No bad smell in aparts. There was a cozy rooftop terrace where we loved having our breakfast. We went to Porto Bianco beach (which is sandy) - it’s a 15 minute walk, since the nearest city beach was closed for renovations.

The air conditioning units behaved strangely - they would turn on, but then suddenly shut off after a while. The AC in the bedroom literally streamed water down the wall, which would drip onto the bed. Because of this, we couldn't keep the windows closed and sleep with the AC on, which was quite uncomfortable given that we were in a noisy part of the Old Town. There was an electric oven, but no microwave, which was very strange. Also, the "sofa" in the kitchen was a bit odd - it was basically just a mattress without any linens (since there were only two of us), topped with a few furniture cushions that weren't very clean. It wasn't comfortable to sit on at all.

Klimatyzacja w pokoju nie działała sprawnie. Było to spore utrudnienie przy ogromnych upałach ok 40 stopni. Brak deski do krojenia i zwykłego noża do chleba czy owoców/warzyw. Na balkoniku przydałyby się sznurki do suszenia ręczników.

Superb central location in the heart of Monopoli, within easy walking distance of everything. Bright and airy when the windows are open, with good shower pressure.

The host was unwelcoming and rude via the Booking.com messaging system when we declined to use WhatsApp for check-in instructions. After involving Booking.com we resolved it, but there were no local tips, no warm welcome, and no sense that guests mattered. The bed was small and the aircon was very loud. Basic kitchen amenities were missing, made worse with a note demanding you wash up, yet no washing-up liquid, sponge or dish towel is provided. We only discovered after our stay that the property apparently has a rooftop terrace, which was never mentioned. Compared to every other property we stayed at on our Puglia trip, this one stood out for all the wrong reasons.
